Hair found in the food my son was eating. It was his birthday. They offered to replace the dish, but we had eaten most of it, and lost our appetite after seeing the long light colored hair. Requested if they could discount the food instead, which the waiter agreed to. We were still charged the full cost. The lady working there (probably the manager) seems rude. Got a dirty look for politely asking for ice with the soft drink. The atmosphere seemed good, food was of good quality and fresh, but things felt disorganised. I don't mind spending money on good food, but I didn't see the value in it. The roles were average. Nothing special here. The waiter was nice or would have been a one star.

Another trip to Obon for my pescatarian mother. The greeting and service overall was awesome. We ordered a Yamato Platter (with a couple of mods) and soft drinks (tea, mineral water). Every member of staff (FOH, kitchen) was friendly and smiley but also natural in their demeanor. We weren't rushed, pushed anything and any "specific" requests were dealt with happily and with ZERO fuss. The fish was fresh-tasting, well presented and plentiful. It baffles me that this place is ONLY #4 in Kingston. When it comes to quality, value and service; this place is the best in London. Book your table! It is (quite rightly) very busy every night. I'm a waiter, done this sh!t for 32yrs with all sorts of companies. These guys do it better than I've ever seen. Polite, efficient, tasty, plentiful, amicable and reasonable on the wallet. I'm so happy this place is only 10min walk from my home.

Fantastic meal! Came to celebrate my daughters 13th birthday and we weren?t disappointed. Beautifully presented small plates (especially the delicious Kaiso salad!), sashimi and hamachi sushi & delicious sushi rolls. Particularly enjoyed the ?Dragon? & soft shell crab sushi rolls & the takoyaki. Thank you to the chefs & floor staff for a fantastic meal! Cannot wait to get back and try the rest of the menu!

We made a table reservation a week before attending the branch in Kingston and received our confirmation email. We arrived 15 minutes earlier and were told that they couldn't find our names on the booking and were fully booked. There were only two couples in the restaurant and all the other tables were free.

Amazing sashimi from all over the world. Had the combo 2 with 18 pieces. This included fatty tuna (Toro), yellowtail, surf clams, turbot wing, octopus, sea bass and sea bream. The service was also fabulous! Highly recommend it!

A lovely little restaurant with lovely staff and a homely feel. The sushi was delicious, with everything being reasonably priced. The vegetable gyoza are definitely a recommendation too! Will be coming back soon!

We had a wonderful lunch authentic Japanese food, sashimi, gyoza, tempura, all really impressed with, would suggest you book as it's very popular , we were luck to be there before opening and manged to get a table. Highly recommended fabulous food fresh and authentic, staff very good , goes without saying incredibly clean ...expect nothing else from Japanese do try if your looking for Japanese food.

Really good Japanese food which isn?t cheap but is great quality. Word of warning, you definitely need to book in advance (as it only seats around 20 people) which as far as I can tell can only be done by phone. We went for the set menu which had a refreshing salad and a wonderful fried tofu. The sashimi portion was generous with thick cuts and was simply delicious. The mains were also prepared very well and I regret going for more of the excellent sashimi instead of the hot dishes like the eel rice. Rounded off a great meal with some subtle Japanese ice cream. We would definitely return as there are quite a few things we?d like to try!
