Coffees purchased at Kingston Fife Rd @12:30pm on 06Aug25.
Laidback, lazy service with an attitude!
I was promptly given a tray to clean my own table.
One blonde, one redhead at the counter.
The blonde one was on her mobile for 30 seconds before she started serving.
My request for a frothier coffee was ignored which resulted in lukewarm coffees.
These females should be reprimanded

There is never iced drinks at this location; not sure why they bother having cold drinks on the menu.

Dirty plates, rude staff and grubby table.

Lovely place and service as been great so far! however the door is extremely heavily and awkward to open, its already hard for me and my friends to open but I cannot help it but feel bad to see elderly people struggling to open it. Hope its fixed soon but i doubt as its been like that ever since I started ordering from them ( its been around 6-8 months)

I was in this morning and ordered a millionaire hot chocolate. I love the chocolate mousse whipped cream on the drink and decided to treat myself to one. The lady essentially gave me a plain hot choc with caramel. I asked where the whipped cream was and she said we ran out. I asked why she didn?t tell me before I paid and she said why should I? She refused to replace the drink with something else and said she would have to charge me for another drink. She told me it made no difference to price if the whipped cream was or wasn?t there. But that is irrelevant as I paid for the drink including all ingredients listed as advertised. I was shocked as I would not of paid for the drink if I had known. She should have told me if the drink could not be prepared as listed. I didn?t want the hot chocolate without the lovely whipped cream. The lady was working at 10:30am Sunday 22nd with black hair. She should have told me before I paid that not all the ingredients were in stock so it would only be the hot chocolate. I would of changed my drink choice. Very disappointed with the waste of my money and refusal to replace the drink.

Of all the chain coffee shops, I like Nero the most. It strikes the right balance between having a strong corporate identity on the market while still feeling like an independent cafe. The coffee is good, the service is friendly and efficient. Also, I just really like the comfy seating options. They feel like a bit of a throwback in most of the best ways.

This particular place can't make a coffee to save their lives. Constantly burning the coffee and ruining it.
Even after asking several times to stop overheating the coffee the staff don't seem to listen.
Lovely atmosphere but can't make a decent coffee.
