Not sure whether more negligent or incompetent. Prescribed a medication, asked to wait for it to be prepared, only to be told half an hour later that they didn?t have stock, but promised to have it 2 days later and they would call me. Was told I couldn?t get the prescription filled at another pharmacy (a lie, it turns out), don?t have a copy of the prescription and after the 2 day wait, am being told it might take another 5 days. My suggestion, fire the lot of them, give the franchise to someone who cares and stop letting down the great doctors and nurses at the Kingston Hospital. Disgraceful service.

Poor service, disorganized; this was the second time the medication was out of stock. They sent me to another pharmacy, where I was informed that the prescription could only be collected from Kingston Hospital. I had to pay unnecessary parking charges. It's a shame, as this causes congestion at Kingston Hospital for no reason.

I really need to get hold of them to request my prescription (can only get from the hospital) and get it sent to New Malden for me to pick up. No one ever answers and no way to reach them. If only I could email. Now I have to spend an hour plus driving there and they will have to order.

**Review: Terrible Pharmacy Experience**This experience was simply dreadful. I was made to wait for my order for at least an hour, if not longer. It seems like the staff do everything possible to make it harder for people to get their medication.

I've worked with Boots before but have never seen a pharmacy struggle so much. I caught a glimpse to the back of the pharmacy and the stock is all over the place. Honestly, I would not place the blame on the staff because I understand their struggle... They're overworked and stressed... It is an environment such as this that creates blunders. I had to queue for about 10 mins to hand in my script and was told to wait 30 mins. 45mins later I could see my prescription was ready on the waiting room screen and once again had to queue up at least 10 mins. After accepting my ticket I once again waited, only to be told there's an issue with the quantity on my prescription and if I could wait a further 5-10 mins. So I sat back down and returned 15 mins later. I stood by the counter, and the staff could see I was waiting but didn't approach me. Finally, I was asked for my ticket number which I provided and received my medication... Only to be given the wrong quantity. At this point I was pretty tired, so I just left. The staff were all polite and nice, however there really are many issues with this place. I'm still firmly going to stand by the issue being Boots, because I KNOW how they treat their employees and expect people to do the job of 3 employees. It's ridiculous and Boots really should be ashamed of themselves. Somewhere along the line they seem to have forgotten that Patient Care > profits, as they continue year after year, cutting down on employees saying they don't have the funds. Yea right, a multi million pound company that continues to serve their upper management at the expense of their hard working staff.

My husband has been on IBRUTINIB since 2018,we have been through the same procedure every 4 weeks since then ,WHY, over the last few months are you struggling to get hold of it ,and WHY do you have your phone on silent so as not to take calls, you are busy and we accept this but for us to come into Kingston is a 3 hour round trip,so yes it?s difficult for us too.At least if you answered your phone we would not be making an unnecessary trip. You are putting my Husbands life at risk please sort this out

Very unorganised pharmacy. I regret that I have to use them for my hospital prescribed medication. Don't answer phones, long queues. If customers could choose, they would no longer exist.

Disgraceful service and they lose their contract with the Kingston Hospital Trust. Asked to wait an hour for a prescription. Came back an hour later to be told it would be another 1/2 hour, which meant paying more parking charges. Then told if I want to pick another Boots chemist it would take 4 days. 4 days to send/receive an instruction!. Seriously, this place is not fit for purpose. Shame on Boots.

Even when the waiting times are well over an hour, they tell everyone that the pick up will be ready in 45 minutes. Had to change pharmacy as a result of the delays.

Staff are lovely, system is shambolic, I should have collected 6 months of medication and they only had 3 weeks worth! 2 weeks later, I've got one pill left and still no sign of the other 5 months. Phone constantly engaged. There's always 1 hour to wait no matter what time you get there.

They should get a zero rating as they are highly incompetent
