Lucia at Barclays Kingston,who we saw was brilliant. My mum is 95 and she took time to explain everything to her. However, the set up in the banking hall isn't great nor the booking of the appointment. Nobody to welcome us and we had to wait and ask where to go. Also telephone booking didn't through everything and we wasted time doing stuff st the appointment that we could have done at home. 5 star for Lucia but only 3 star for barclays company

The bank manager was dismissive and not helpful at all. If you?re an international student I don?t recommend them. I waited 2 weeks for a code that did not arrive, waited on the phone for an hour just to get through to someone so they can book me in, to be met with this person to tell me I have to go do it all again..? Do not bank here.

The services of Barclays staffs at the island counter on ground floor are always bad which is far below the expectation.Luckily, one of the Barclays staffs, Ms. Samanthi Patel, on the first floor did provide professional and excellent service to my wife and me today (20ICT) morning.Her professional advice and courteous service made us feeling good and having all our upset (caused by the staff at the counter on the ground floor) relieved.Hope this lady to be the example of the bank and motivate all front-line services at all Barclays branches.

Simple tasks are fine, helped in a friendly and quick manner.But in the spring when I had to pay the visa fee using an Iban, the employee brought me to tears and hysterics. She said that the payment will not be made by the number of Iban, sent me to call the visa center, go to other banks and look for sort code and account number, said that nothing else will help.But today, oh miracle!!! I find on the Barclays website that there is even an instruction on how to decode the Iban number into the sort code and account number, described simply and easily.Do not the staff know such simple things to make an international payment?And don't know the basic information from their own site?very bad service

Counter service.5min wait.Apology given with a friendly greeting.Polite, happy, helpful, natural and generally remarkable service from Clare(?).She attempted to persuade me to get the app. If going to the branch is always that fun, I don't think I'll bother.???

The staffs are so helpful. I can exchange the old banknote to new one without any accounts in this bank. So I decide to open the account is this bank later.

Machines will not accept cheques, one customer service advisor and one person on counter for 10+ people. Low staffing and an app that will not scan cheques. Very poor service.

Worst branch and bank ,my wife asked for the last three months statement and waiting for more than half an hour they didn?t know how to do it, and they were making mistakes every time, and she left without the bank statement.
