The only coffee shop in West Hamostead so far that is not problematic. I go often and have a coffee and sit down outdoors. The onky bad thing is how few tables they have. They only have two tables outside and I think three inside. The ones inside are by the tills and ordering queue so you can't have peace and quiet and read a book. Outside can be sometimes dirty becauss of trash people leave outside and when it's windy you can see trash around the shop. It is not the shop's fault.
I give 4 stars because staff could go out with a broom to clean the pavement like other stores do. I have been many times there and foe hours and they never do it. They also don't clean the outside tables unless you ask them to. For £5 a coffee you would expect to sit down to a clean chair and use a clean table.
Also various people who don't order from starbucks go and sit down outside from time to time and taking over the two tables which now allows customers to have a sear. I have seen hundreds of timws people wirh costa or nero coffees to go and sit there or without even a coffee but just going and sitting there smoking and having phone calls. Of course staff cannot control other people's behaviours but they could implement a strict policy of not offering seats to non customers so that customers will have a seat. They could put a sign outside that seats are onky for customers and they could go out regularly to check if people sitting outside have starbucks cups and also clean the tables and tidy up a bit. This I would call a 5star service but they don't do anything.Again probably it might not be their fault but management's fault who don't pay them enough or don't pay for enough staff. Every single coffee shop in West Hampstead and Hampstead at the moment is highly problematic with not enough staff and dirty so it seems soemthing is going really wrong in the industry at the moment. At least Starbucks makes good coffee because everyone else makes disgusting coffee.....

Absolutely disgusting service so moody looking 2 girls ...smile always helps! .. so rude didn't ask us if we were eating in which we were but gave us takeaway cups and cakes in paper bags but charged us the extra for eating in! Won't be

Love Starbucks but they have changed the layout and removed 80% of the seating for an oversized serving counter. People cannot relax with their coffee because there are not enough seats.

Staff is really nice and quick. Although it's a smaller store, they have everything a Starbucks usually has.

I bought a cinnamon bun from there this morning and it was so stale and foul tasting that it went straight in the bin. How can a reputable chain sell such old and nasty food? I would like a refund for the bun. The coffees were nice.Regards
