If you're looking for a calm and relaxing café, this probably isn't the right place.
Every time I?ve been here ? and it?s been several times now ? the atmosphere has been overwhelmingly noisy.
From the moment you walk in, it feels more like a crowded market than a cozy café.
The staff talk loudly with each other, and they handle cups and cutlery without much care ? constantly banging things around, which adds to the noise.
Sometimes, the music is turned up so loud that it completely kills any sense of peace and becomes more like noise pollution.
On top of that, some customers tend to be loud and inconsiderate, making the whole environment even more chaotic.
It?s a shame, because the place could be nice if there was a bit more attention to creating a peaceful and welcoming vibe.
Overall, I haven?t had a good experience here, and I really hope they reconsider how the space is managed.

I don?t know why at cafe Nero west end lane has a very long queue to the extent customers started walking away. The manager was there but not on the till saving even though the line stretched outside and customers were actually leaving. A young training barrister man who was sitting down and on his phone.
The only older trainee man that was on the till was supper slow and confused.. This coffee shop used to be very organised but now no one seems to care.

I had a wonderful experience at this coffee shop! The quality of the coffee is truly outstanding ? rich, flavorful, and brewed to perfection. What really stood out to me was the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The manager is incredibly nice and passionate about what they do, which makes a real difference. The staff members are so kind and attentive, always ready to help with anything you need. It's clear they care about providing great service. Whether you're a coffee enthusiast or just looking for a cozy place to relax, this coffee shop is a must-visit!

Like so many Nero?s, tired and in need of a freshen up, from the decor to the furniture and the coffee/food is no longer anywhere near a market leader like Gail?s.

Coffee very slightly sour. Slightly less aroma than most. No or minimal residue. No waxy or bitter taste. It's possible to get a ceramic mug as opposed to takeaway cups. Panini is made using a proper sandwich maker as opposed to the pathetic microwave ovens. Decent size with lots of seating. Not too busy. Toilet reasonably clean and includes a changing table. Lots of windows. Cycle parking opposite.

Items are ALWAYS out of stock, they send bizarre replacement items when ordering online. Coffee is mediocre and flat on arrival. My recent order didn't arrive and an hour and 5 mins after they only took action and cancelled it. Seems there are reviews with the same issues from 2 years ago, evident of the poor management that is place is enduring. Maybe time to change it up and move on if you can't run the place properly. I enjoyed the one particular item when I ordered and when it was in stock, but will never order from here again. Lost yourself a regular customer.

Came in the afternoon, ordered tea, coffee and two cakes, we were expecting proper cups and saucers as we were staying in, instead we were given takeaway paper cups and cake box and I have paid £12.50. Barista rude, dirty glasses, cups and saucers all over the premises while the baristas are just chatting away and eating behind the counter and customers cleaning their own tables. it is not going to see my money ever again.
