Terrible. Restaurant was cold and food was bland but by far the worst part of the experience was the staff! They were unwelcoming - seemed as if they didn?t want to be there - none of them smiled once! Also it is the only restaurant I?ve ever been to where, if you ask to take some of your food ?to go? ?, they give you a bag and foil trays and expect you to spoon your takeout into trays yourself to take home!! It was humiliating! We won?t go back! I don?t recommend this place at all!!

Maybe it was just the mood I was in. But I felt disappointed with this restaurant. I pictured it as a sort of spiritual sanctuary in the middle of yoga land, with beautiful food to match. But had pretty standard Biryani and warm RasMalai dessert. Waiters were also hard to find when you needed them.

Very nice restaurant with wonderful food and polite staff. The food is interesting and very tasty. They prepared it quickly and we were all happy with the taste. The staff were very nice and polite. You can pay cash, which I think is a great advantage. I will definitely come back here!

The food was excellent. The service was excellent. Some of the best Indian food that I've had. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Lovely neighborhood spot with wonderful food. The samosa was so good, the wine was nice but a little pricey, and the curry was delicious. Recommend this place!

Awful experience with the reservation Phoned the restaurant the night before and confirmed the reservation Was phoned by the restaurant the next day and told only outside table is available as there was a mix up the night before . When arrived at the restaurant told that my reservation was cancelled as I did not fully confirm I was coming !! When the fault is with the restaurant don?t blame the customer .

What a classy Indian spot with its elegant chic interiors! I had the paneer tikka with chili and lamb saag. My friend had samosa and lamb briyani. Was a great meal.

I have been going to Chakra since they were in Notting Hill. It's a small restaurant but they have a good selection of tasty dishes. Good portions. Only weak point were the desserts (only 2 to order), they could certainly improve this.

I had a cozy gathering of 15 people outside in the terrace. The food was outstanding, with plenty of clean and healthy choices, the atmosphere was inviting and perfect for mingling. We did not ave a sit down dinner, and Chakra accommodated that request perfectly. We were looked after with very attentive and friendly staff. Absolutely brilliant.

We visited Chakra today and for 2 skinny People we ordered 4 starters + 3 mains and 3 naans. Firstly please improve your portion sizes at least for the starters they were tiny. Taste wise - I am Indian and for me it was good but not great, any average restaurant in Delhi can beat this easily and you know it. I will review each dish we ordered below - avacado ke gole - was absolutely bland didn't like it at all and very small portion. Trio of samosas - 3 mini samosas less flavour more spice again nothing exciting. Paani Puri - was ok Wild mushroom naan - totally bland and nothing wild about it. None of the starters were much to talk about and sorry but totally not worth it. The main courses were all good though, we ordered methi chicken, Dal Makhani and Baigan Ka Bhartha... No complaints there. Now for what else I liked - ambience was good, its a cute little romantic place different from typical curry houses here or even the big fancy top Indian restaurants which are too loud and commercial for me anyways now. What else I didn't like - they have a decent vegan choice but it was boring...how difficult is it to offer a Delhi butter chicken with tofu instead of chicken for vegans?? In fact all the chicken dishes (and paneer dishes ) can be substituted with tofu and no indian restaurants seem to be doing that here. Also my chef back home makes a killer vegan Dal Makhani with cashew cream Instead of regular cream / butter and its an easy substitute would be a great hit with vegans. I am only 80% vegan that too mostly cuz I don't find "interesting" vegan options at restaurants here. I don't want baigan bhartha and tarka Dal at a fancy restaurant...if u know what I mean, these are the simplest of Indian dishes, I'd really want something different innovative and exciting, so if you must do Vegan then do it right. Another thing I noticed which is a staff training issue mainly, the waiter was hovering around to pick our plates up the second we finished eating and he did literally 5 seconds after we finished he came as if in a rush to get us out of there ..maybe they were busy later on but we made a reservation and were there at 6 pm sharp, first guests to enter, I've spent a lot of time in France and continental Europe and if you do that in similar restaurants there then it's a big problem. Music was a bit loud and clubby...didn't go well with the ambience at all...it should be soothing and sophisticated. I don't mean to be over critical I still like your concept and I think it can be a lot better so Just making some suggestions. Would I still go back? Not unless your menu improves , so far it didn't excite me.

A really lovely restaurant with nice decoration. We really enjoyed the food. The menu includes a good proportion of vegetarian and vegan food.
