It's a great place with a very welcoming atmosphere, really nice people, superb food and drinks ? Every time we come for a dinner there, we agree that it's the best pub food in the area! And I just love the vibes! Will visit this place again tonight actually ? and many times, for sure ?

Very enjoyable place to eat with people with different expectations. Service and food and drinks were excellent. Also the music was toned down by request which made conversation much better.

I just had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday with a group of 16 people and it was absolutely brilliant. The food, service, drinks and atmosphere were amazing. I had booked it very last minute and the staff was very helpful with everything, they made my life so easy that I get to enjoy each moment without stressing being the host. Big thanks to the whole Hillgate team.

What a hidden gem in an absolutely darling part of Notting Hill. Forget the crowds and craziness by the bookshop and head to this little quiet space with a chill vibe and amazing service.
We had a lovely full English breakfast and an avocado toast that was equally yummy.
We will happily come back.

Wonderful food, great spot in the sun for a lazy Sunday lunch . Poor service, cold almost suggesting we were an inconvenience and were clearly in the wrong job and industry , which happens , but work somewhere else and don?t ruin it for others

This is one of the best pub I've ever visited in London. I ate fish and chip which is tasty. The staff was very friendly and kind. I will visit again next time.

I celebrated my birthday here a few weeks ago in the private room upstairs with a group of 20, and it was an amazing experience. The service was impeccable, and our server, Alex, was fantastic, attentive, friendly which made the evening extra special.
From the initial booking to the night itself, the staff at The Hillgate were incredibly helpful and a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend it!
