Could not get a refund by telephone, they force me to go there. First time, they didn't refund it because they didn't communicate with the customer service ! The second time, instead of a refund, they charge me again! Eventually, the lady refunded it double the money. THEY ARE TRYING TO MAKE MY LIFE IMPOSSIBLE !

An excellent shop we go to get stuff we need. It is either this one or the one down in Richmond. They keep in stock bits and pieces you cannot get anywhere else. Far better than Amazon at least you deal with real people.

The item I bought was advertised on the shelf at 9.99 and when I got the the til it came up as 16.99 - when I pointed this out, and asked to pay the advertised price, the manager Michael was very nonchalant about the error and insisted that I pay the full price, when this was clearly their error. Very disappointing and I will not be going back.

Terrible. They have a DHL drop off point but none of the employees actually know how to use it.

As a visitor to London, our electrical plug converter stopped working. All of the converters we found was to convert UK plugs to US, but not the other way around... until we found a US to UK converter at Robert Dyas at a reasonable price. The converter was under lock, and we had to find a store employee to unlock for us... he could have been a little friendlier. Despite the employee's attitude, we were glad to find a the converter.

My mum bought a fan last week. There is something wrong with the fan when it oscillate it slows down the speed of the propeller. The guy named PAUL said that it can?t be refunded cos it?s already been used. How on earth if we will know if the item has something wrong if you won?t try it. RUBBISH customer service if only i can complain this situation to the higher authority then i will do it. We have the right as a consumer but it didn?t work out for this guy named PAUL. Zero star is suitable for him he is not HELPFUL AT ALL

Absolutely terrible customer service experience I had yesterday in Roberts Dyas Kensington High Street. Store supervisor Paul was very rude, when I came with broken item for exchange. He was just trying to get rid of me, instead of explaining decently or even advicing something. Thankfully, the nice customer who was standing next to us, heard our conversation and kindly gave me some advice, how to deal with the item. But store supervisor Paul was extremely rude and unhelpful. Wouldn't like to come back to this shop again.

A but pricey but some prices for goods in store have been slashed. The shop is always nice and clean and spacious enough for prams, trolley baskets, buggies. No bikes. One of the most helpful customer services Stores you can find. Pure household and housewares gardening goods sold inside.

Me & fam have been going to RD KenHS all our lives, usually helpful+friendly staff, well priced stock + wide range of essentials, super convenient. Ticks all the boxes. Keep the high street & community incl. local businesses alive, shop here instead of Amazon for a change ;) you might like it better!

Robert Dyas has moved across the street and is opposite Joe and the Juice. On the same side as Decathalon. The traditional green signage is also replaced with a less prominent blue sign.
