impossible to find out whether kensington branch is manned by real humans or just another collection of digital hurdles. the 0345 tel nr (allegedly for obtaining 'further information') cuts out every time i dial.

Opened account recently and just now closed it
as bad customer training/service and didn?t get the cash incentive for the switch (after the online account opening process that was quite long that?s didn?t expect)? so time wasting, not recommended.

Really poor service. Had to wait for 10-15 minutes to deposit cash with a service agent - when it should be possible to do so with a machine. Furthermore, there was only one cashier on duty when there was a clear build up of a queue?..

Hey Dean, almost £100 in coins . Ryan was incredibly patient and helpful as he was serving me.
It?s one of the reasons I?ve remained loyal to this bank, as they provide great service and keeping branches open with counter service.

I pop in to the bank today at 189 high street Kensington and the staff opened the bank late at 9.07am...one staff even coming in at 9.05. If you can't abide by professionalism in timing then adjust your opening times please, thank you.

Staff absolutely fine, but the premises are shockingly bad. You cannot hear the staff through the thick glass partition (my hearing is very good), and therefore no privacy as everyone is shouting out their personal business. Awful layout of a branch also. Will be using a different one next time I need to?

How can banks close at the weekend. The only time I can get to the bank is on my lunch break because they close before I finish work and on the weekends there closed. Madness.

The service at this branch is routinely sub-standard. A member of staff who understood the administration of Power Of Attorney applied to a Nationwide accounts left a few years ago. Since then, the branch takes between 30-60 min each visit to process a simple transaction via PoA. There are apologies and explanations that are not consistent but no improvement. The branch often closes early with no notice. One star is generous.

I had a problem whereby one of staff made an error and didn't allow me to access a service that they should have - it happens. The branch manager got in contact, explained they had offered retraining to the staff and offered to personally go through the issue with me ASAP. People make mistakes, it's how you deal with it that counts - very happy with the service from this branch and Nationwide more generally.
