Honest Review ? Halifax Kensington Branch
I?m extremely disappointed with the way I?ve been treated at the Halifax branch in Kensington, especially by a staff member named Parmeet. She has long black hair and usually sits at the front desk. Her attitude is consistently cold, dismissive, and unprofessional.
Every time I ask for help, she either says ?I don?t know? or tells me to go to a different branch ? without even trying to understand what I need. Why should I travel to another branch when this one is right next to my home? I come here as a regular customer and expect at least basic courtesy and support.
Today, after waiting a long time, she looked at me and simply said ?we?re closing? ? with no attempt to understand or help. What made it worse is that she helped another customer who came after me, while I was just ignored. I felt disrespected and unwelcome.
This is not the first time. Even when the branch was quiet, she refused to help me. A friend of mine had the same experience with her, so I know it?s not just me ? it?s a pattern of poor treatment.
Thankfully, a kind and professional lady named Conchita stepped in today and assisted me with care and respect. She?s the reason I?m not losing total faith in this bank. She deserves recognition for her excellent service.
Halifax really needs to look into this kind of behaviour. Staff should not treat customers with attitude or ignore them, especially in a local branch that people rely on. If this continues, I?ll have no choice but to take my business elsewhere.

Went in today to make a booking and the assistant manager was really helpful and kind. However, I have to also mention the outstanding service I witnessed the manager gave to a vulnerable customer who was having a difficult time. She was extremely kind and professional. Very good staff

Asked to see an advisor for simple request and answer no. Do you have an appointment... So later I called bank to book appointment and they said no need, just walk in. So which is it walk in or appointment. Customer service was poor and not helpful.
