My in-laws booked this. If you are from Europe you will feel like you get absolutely catastrophic price/performance ratio. Not worth more than 25£/night but they charge x5. This people have 0 knowledge how a family hotel should look like. Please avoid this and all similar ?hotelier?. All you have to do just travel few miles out of Ilford to the north and you?ll get a civilised accommodation for European prices. In their defense, one can only say that they are among the cheapest around. But that doesn't change my evaluation.

I stayed here for 2 nights while working in the area. The room was small but adequate and well heated.it isn?t in a great area and so there is often noise from the street. It is not the cleanest place there were some black marks on duvet cover. It had been cleaned though .

The room was clean and decent size. basic facilities were provided (mini fridge, kettle, microwave) and refreshments too. But perhaps one or two plates could have also been given to heat the food in the microwave. I had brought some food from the take away and couldn?t heat it as there were no plates. Also, I noticed some flies in the room. Maybe an insect?s treatment is needed for them but otherwise I had a comfortable stay. The receptionist was also very kind and helpful. He told us about the nearby shops and restaurants too so that we have a good stay in ilford.

Clean and tidy rooms. Great service by the owner/manager. He's very nice and helpful. Comfortable beds (although the extra bed in the family room wasn't great). Bigger room had a fridge, microwave and kettle which is very useful. Good location with lots of food places nearby.

Impeccably clean room, complete with a mini fridge, fan, and kettle with hot drinks. Average size bedroom with comfy bed, good size bathroom with powerful shower.The boss/owner was very attentive and friendly too.We'll definitely be back soon :)

Value for money but rooms are too small. One minute walk to High Street with restaurants, pubs and malls. South Indian Hotel Saravana's is a one minute walk. Added attraction is the Valentine Park which is a two minute walk. Inconvenient for old people, there is no elevator. Car Parking is there for only two cars.

Booked a stay here for a weekend in London. Initially, I was shocked by the location - down a very poorly lit, narrow street. Arrived for check-in and was greeted by a very friendly man, he was very chatty. When we entered the room, it looked okay at first glance but upon further inspection, we found dirt on the walls, a hair under the duvet and stains on the carpet. The bathroom was poorly managed and cleaned, the toilet seat was wobbly, the drain plug was faulty, the toilet had cracks, stains and only partially flushed, the tiles didn?t look properly cleaned and I didn?t feel comfortable standing on the cracked shower tray. But the icing on the cake was the pungent faecal aroma radiating throughout the entire room as soon as the door shut. I attempted to mask the smell with perfume 3x but it wouldn?t leave. I couldn?t quite locate where it was coming from as the toilet was clean enough but closing the bathroom door only helped slightly. The only enjoyable part of the stay was the bed which was quite comfortable. At 10.30am, we were jolted awake by violent knocking on the door, rattling of the handle and attempted entry as we weren?t informed check out was 10.30 but we?re instead asked when we wanted to leave upon arrival so this was quite startling. Honestly, I cannot recommend this hotel for anyone and would appreciate correspondence about a partial refund regarding my stay as I was greatly disappointed and the experience didn?t correlate with the cost.

Fab little independent hotel, I needed a room for one night as I had a day in Ilford working. After a long journey, being greeted as if I was a frequent visitor, an old friend with nothing too much trouble is what hospitality is all about for me.A simple comfortable and clean room was what the website offered and that's what I got.As a budget hotel, you won't get much better value for money. I'll be booking again when ever I'm visiting Ilford.

Hotel rooms have a lot of flies and ants.We talked with the receptionist about leaving at 2. Receptionist said yes yesterday with no extra cost and then charged us 40 pounds today whereas no one checked in..
