Better than JD Sports, store had a wide range of clothing, trainers and sporting goods. Got a running top and some polo shirts. Reasonable value. Online store had the rugby tops I wanted. Ordered and waiting on delivery.

Newbury Park Sportsdirect is full of lazy staff that can?t be bothered to do anything. When I went in the other day I was looking for some asics trainers and couldn?t see them so I asked a member of staff who in a passive aggressive and slightly condescending manner said ?you won?t find asics here they?re running shoes?. So I said could you find me a 9 in the 3 pairs I had picked up from the casual sports shoes section and he looked put out and then suggested I just try the asics ones instead. I then found 2 pairs of asics that I liked the look of and asked if he could get me 9s in the 3 casual pairs and the 2 asics pairs to which he said ?I can only get 3 pairs at a time so I?ll get you the 2 asics?. He then brought them over and stood aggressively over me as u tried them on and also seemed quite disinterested like he just wanted me gone and over and done with so he could get a quick sale with minimum effort. He was then called away and never came back. So I went to find him and gave him the pair of ASICS I wanted and he said he?d put them behind the counter. A few minutes later I went back to him and said can I have my shoes and he said I put them by the counter! I?d forgotten he said that so I went off to the counter and the lady there she didn?t have anything there. She had to call him which took ages and after a few minutes he came to the counter with the shoes. The shoes he claimed twice he had put behind the counter. Terrible experience. None of them can be bothered. If I could score this a zero I would.

Harris was a very nice employee went out of his way to serve us with so many customers it was like he was running the store actually he was running the store give him a raise .

The sole of my Gelert walking shoes, purchased from Sports Direct in Newbury Park came away while I was on a hike. As shoes barely six months old, and obviously faulty, I returned to store to ask for a replacement pair. The member of staff was incredibly rude and showed no sympathy when I said the faulty shoes were dangerous. He told me to contact Sports Direct's customer services by email. They eventually replied saying as shoes not purchased online I needed to take them back to the store. Can I face having another visit to the store when it will be a waste of my time? Sports Direct has now lost future visits from me

Unhelpful staff that clearly don?t know how to handle returns policy & pretty much telling me I was lying and it was their incompetence. No customer care. Thankful for other stores close by who were much more helpful & able to rectify a different stores mistake. I will not be returning.

Staff don't know their own return policies and make people's lives very hard when returning faulty products within their rights. Never had such a bad service in any other Sports Direct.

White Lady was stacking shelves i asked her to bring bigger size of shoe as there was no member of staff available in shoe section she said I will call some one to help after 15 minute I have to approach her again I asked her to help she replied I'm busy .where is the customer services. They all forgotten. They needs to be trained again for customer services.than a guy with curly hair cMe pretends to b manager ooh u needs to wait we are serving other customer but there was barely anyone in store.i wondered y the store is soo empty.he started arguing u cannot talk to my staff like that.we are busy .they were busy with their ear buds.disappointed .better not to visit that store.

Rude unprofessional no customer service skills. Seems like staff in this branch is hired as long as they can be rude, unprofessional, could not care less attitude. Cannot even speak proper English. It applies to all levels from ground staff to manager. Shame on you all.

Bad experience with staff specially shoes manager he does not know how to talk to customers he was arguing alot. He doesn't know how to deal with customers and customers problems as well.

2 members of staff 1 white glasses lady and 1 asian young male curly hair and beard , studs in both ear un professional no manners how to talk to a customer. Staff with manager should go for customer service training. Un educated ill mannered rude staff. Staff and so called manager I don?t know he was manager or not but pretending to be a manager when I requested that can i talk to store manager. They don?t know the basics of customer service .How dare a floor staff can ask a customer to put the stuff back when you choose to buy. It happened yesterday on Sunday The 8th around 4pm.

guy with a silver tooth (was working in the stockroom for shoes today) is sexist and likes to mock customers. I want to be contacted or an email to escalate an issue which took place 16th july at approx 16:50. After the incident i even asked him as a means for him to redeem himself to check for a size 6.5. shoe at which point he just walks past me on his way out saying no size 6.5....the customer service has put me off sports direct completely. Did not even try to offer an alternative shoe or anything. Shocking that they've gone downhill! Always preferred sports direct over jd sports but this has flipped the script for me. And no before you try to reply with absolute blag i don't work for your competitor but they seem to have customer service skills you do not. Stop employing people who are not WOKE!
