Outdated Website, Unpleasant Service: A Lucky Escape from Salma's Salon!Their website is outdated and not user-friendly, so I reckoned I would call them instead with basic queries e.g their prices . Boy, was I in for a treat! The person who answered the phone was extremely rude and unfriendly. Instead of providing information, she was defensive and unprofessional right from the start, only saying a curt 'hello' in an abrasive tone. She even said 'have we spoken before?' when it was the first time I called them. Her lack of basic customer service was apparent. I'm so relieved I didn't book an appointment here, as it's clear they need to improve their approach to dealing with potential customers. No doubt their other services/treatments would have been equally disappointing based on this encounter.

Myself and my daughter both had haircuts by Salma, I was impressed I booked her again for highlights/hair colour service.I love my new hair colour, I have received lots of compliments. I had a haircut recently, not much of a change, just the usual wash and trim the split ends. But I really liked the customer service at this salon. Salma and Khadija (not sure about the spelling) were very friendly and polite, very professional, the place looks nice and clean. Also the price was much better than at other salons in Ilford. Salma did my hair for prom, she blow dried it straight. It was my first time getting that done on my hair and she did really well. She was very friendly and recommended me hair products and advice on my hair. Her prices are affordable and she is very nice so you feel comfortable in her presence. I highly recommend her service and will be coming back again!

wow, wow, wow!!! I've had the most amazing experience with salmas hair studio! Not only did she make me feel comfortable throughout the whole process, but my hair colour came to life, way better than I expected. Her 25 years of experience shows through the amazing work she does!! She is now a mobile hair dresser and personally I prefer that so much more as everything is done at the comfort of my own home!! I would highly recommend her to everyone wanting any type of beauty service as she offers everything!!!

Firstly where do I begin with the lovely Salma she is a true gem! She offers mobile hair dressing service and I booked her for my two year old daughter and she fit me in at a short notice which I?m grateful for.My two year old had a bad experience at a previous childrens hair salon and that made her anxious and put her off having a hair cuts all together it was just impossible to get her to have one at all.However Salma turned up today and completely changed this around, she was so good with my daughter and she has a way with kids which was brilliant. She built such a good bond with my daughter that she felt like family. My daughter was left so happy that she couldn?t stop admiring herself in the mirror! The second I walked into Salma's salon, I was engulfed with positive energy and vibes. I have walked past the salon a couple of times now but a few days ago decided to take a leap of faith and go inside. A lot of hairdressers have ruined my hair in the past but Salma easily rectified what others could not. Not only is she rather knowledable about her work, she's friendly, easy going, and overall a lovely person. I can't recommend her enough, and will definitely be going back.
