Oh, shocker?this branch is getting negative reviews for customer service! So, I show up, no pound for the trolley, and guess what? Not a single soul in sight to help! Not the security guard, not Pam at the cigarette counter, literally no one. Then, at checkout, Shobha, another absolute gem, didn't know how iPhone Pay works. I mean, it's 2025, right? ? But hey, after I left, I had this epiphany: why waste my mood on miserable people when I can just skip to somewhere else where they treat me like I?m not invisible? Big fat shame on you guys!

The queues every single time are crazy. Staff are barely in a mood to help anyone or make thing easy for themselves and their colleagues. The counter close to the entrance/exit is not different as well. There is mostly just 1 lady there and she has to deal with over a dozen or 2 dozen people on her own.

The store doesn't have a customer toilet. I thought it is a big store. I realized that when in the middle of the shopping I wanted to use the toilet. So I had to leave my shopping and go to look for a coffee shop which is about 5 minutes walking from the store. After that I never come back to end the shopping. So I just wasted my time

Carpark is very dark in the evening and very dirty not nice at all. Not the nicest Sainsbury's poorly stacked shelves and not much there. Lots of staff about however

I had a terrible experience at Sainsbury?s Ilford. The staff were rude when I asked for help with an alcohol purchase. Manager Saad and Tania team member were aggressive and unprofessional, raising his voice and pointing his finger at me. I felt disrespected as a customer. This behavior is unacceptable, and I am extremely disappointed. Sainsbury?s needs to improve customer service and ensure that staff are trained to handle situations
