Very good place for shopping cloths at best prices

I made the mistake of buying a suitcase that didn't last the duration of a trip, even though it wasn't heavy, 18 kilos at most. Really a shame! It would still be good to sell slightly better quality luggage, even if you are a discount brand, it allows you to have a good opinion of your belongings. I strongly advise against buying suitcases from them, otherwise you will be very disappointed and very bothered when you travel! Purchase dated August 13, 2025

Poor Customer Service Experience at Ilford Primark
I had a frustrating experience at the Ilford Primark store yesterday morning. The store was nearly empty, yet the customer service was extremely poor.
When I went to pay for my items at the till, the advisor asked whether I was paying by card or cash. I said card, and without any further explanation, he pointed towards the self-checkout area and told me I had to use it for card payments. I was the only customer at the tills, and both staff members were just standing and chatting, clearly not interested in actually serving anyone.
Reluctantly, I went to the self-checkout and scanned my items, but the machine froze and required staff assistance. When an assistant came over to help, I asked why I couldn?t just pay by card at the till. She repeated the same line, that only cash, refunds, or exchanges are handled at the tills, and card payments must be done at self-checkout.
I pointed out that they do have the facility to accept card payments at the tills, so why mislead customers? Her response was, ?We say that to everyone.? I explained that I wasn?t given a choice or even a chance to speak, I was just told where to go. She then said, ?Well, if you had told the advisor you wanted to pay at the till, he would have served you.? That made no sense, as I was given no opportunity to say that, I was simply dismissed and redirected.
It was clear the staff just didn?t want to be bothered. They gave conflicting information, were dismissive, and even argued instead of taking responsibility. The entire experience came across as lazy and unprofessional.
Primark really needs to train its staff to communicate clearly, listen to customers, and provide proper service, especially when the store is not even busy.

Very unfriendly manager and if you misplace a receipt then even the primark tag is there , they will not replace the product and the quality is worse now , never going back on this awful place.

Last Friday I went to Ilford Primark I was seeing the products when I went to level 2 floor I saw a guy following me, I think he was a security guard in a civil dress Why I think so, because when I finished my shopping, I saw that standing in front of the door. It was embarrassing that your are doing shopping and someone was following you everywhere. They think everyone is a shoplifter. Who gave them the job to do? Why do they put the CCTV if they follow the customer everywhere? They should improve their customer service and if they think everyone is a shoplifter they should close the shop. How Ridiculous ?..

I had a really disappointing experience at this Primark store today. I found around 10 items clearly marked with discounted price labels on the shelf, but when I scanned one at the self-checkout, it came up as full price. A friendly assistant at the till kindly radioed the team upstairs to double-check the pricing and approve the new price on the till system for me, but after keeping us waiting for 10 minutes, they outright refused to even walk over to the shelves upstairs where I picked it up. They also accused me or other customers of deliberately sticking discount labels on the products. That?s not only completely illogical (why would a customer go to the effort of relabelling an entire shelf?), but it also came across as lazy and incredibly unprofessional. I received no support or resolution ? just a flat-out refusal to help. Very unimpressed.

I am a regular customer and always buy from this shop and the Tottenham one. Today I picked clothes for reduction division and when checked on the till they showed the normal price , didn?t expect that so changed my mind. The lady (who is an old employee, as I am seeing her for past 3 years ) was so rude to me and almost scolded me for not telling her to check the price beforehand, I didn?t know as I don?t work there that it would be so much work for her to cancel those items. Felt really rude and it was unnecessary rude behaviour.. if the other colleagues of yours are not doing their job properly then you can?t come to the customer like that. If that?s the service anyone is going to get then good luck with your business..

Unfortunately I have to visit this store in Ilford. I asked guy Saqib about item he replied Very rude,no customer services at all.No one help when staff see you and think you gonna ask for something they look away or start walking so you don't ask anything.
I would strongly no recommend to go this store.
I will never go to this store.

The elderly Indian lady in the woman?s charging room need to be fired! After we came out the changing room with an arrogant tone she said ?wait?. She counted our clothes several times when we came back from the changing room. Then she told me to put the clothes in the hanger when she could see that I had many shopping bags in my hands. I was struggling and she was watching me with her arms crossed. She could?ve simply do that as this is her job and it?s not like it was busy anyways. Her mannerism was completely rude and acted as if we were going to steal something. Let?s not mention before we even went to the changing room she gave us the longest paragraph about making sure the tags doesn?t come out, to make sure we bring hangers, to make sure clothes are in the hanger and not to stain them etc.. never in my life I heard such a long paragraph before going to the changing room. We felt completely un welcomed. Not everybody come to primark to steal! I will not be back in ilford primark after experiencing such rude customer service. My request to primark is to investigate this incident and hire young energetic employers with customer service training!
