Called up to track an order that was dispatched for C&C 7 days ago.
Lady I spoke to was disinterested not very helpful and just said systems are down. I asked if they could check where they?re stored to see if it?s been missed (when they scan it in. I used to work for New Look so I am well aware of how it works) but she just kept saying the systems are down so I can?t check it. I said you can?t physically go and check where they?re stored? She said it would come up on the system as missing if not scanned (which I know but if the system is down you can also go physically look for it)
She just kept saying check your junk email. Even though I had already said I have done that before I called. I said this 2-3 times to her.
Not good service if you ask me. Not sure what her problem was but not the right way to treat customers. She was useless and unhelpful. I should have gotten her name but nevermind. Will shop at a different branch if I must use New Look. Not ilford anymore but will probably just stick to other retailers instead.

One manager there black lady no managers I?m a black female and I?m not discriminating As a manager unprofessional not trying to assist with any refunds or returns I came in with ask her other staff to do it when approached she is Not approachable and very not customer facing friendly what the hell is that. She didn?t acknowledge me in my experience or advise me zero her back turnt waste time don?t answer phone and was told but staff I need to contact customer service as systems is down with no apologise or come back tomorrow after standing around in shop for over 25 mins nonsense

Very unpleasant and unhelpful staff. Whatever happened to service with a smile? Clearly New Look have zero screening procedures in their hiring since they hire the most unprofessional, grumpy retail workers I've possibly ever seen.

I am extremely disappointed with the new look opening at Ilford Exchange. According to the advertised opening time, the shop was supposed to open at 11:00 AM. However, I stood outside the closed doors for a frustrating 20 minutes past the stated opening time. There were no updates or apologies from the staff, leaving customers bewildered and irritated. This is absolutely unacceptable and a clear sign of poor management. I expected better from such a well-known establishment. This experience has certainly tarnished my view of Ilford Exchange. I won't be recommending this place to anyone if this is how they treat their customers.

Staff are not welcoming..I decided to go to the store after a long night-shift. I was looking through the store trying items on felt like staff were watching me..no one asked if i needed any assistance. I had to ask for help..went to the till to collect two orders, once I was done I thanked the staff member and she just ignored me with a blank look on her face. I normally shop at newlook westfiled straford where staff are more welcoming but since the store is closed ilford is my nearest store.

Says on both Google and the New Look website that it closes at 8pm on Wednesdays, went all the way there after work and it was already closed by 6:30?

New look need to do a thorough check on staff in their shops as staff in stores set the example for the brand as a whole. Ilford branch customer service is horrendous I?ve never had a positive experience and I am a regular. The staff are either rude, mumbling things under their breath or completely unbothered. The counter staff are the reason I have chosen to not shop there anymore as I can?t be bothered with continuous negative attitude and unprofessionalism every time I go. When you have H&M right next door it seems like a better alternative if you don?t want to deal with staff who are too busy chatting to colleagues and take 15 minutes just to return or buy a single item. It has become quite sickening and new look should really look into this as it will make you lose regular customers.

We were not made aware of the sale item return policy by the cashier, nor was it detailed at the till area.When we tried to return the item, we were told it was exchange only.The manager insisted that the cashier must have pointed out this policy before we paid.The manager also pointed out some small cardboard sign which was displayed away from the till area - somewhere that people in a typical queue would never notice.Net result my wife had the choice of keeping the item she did not want or scouring the store to find something else she did not want.Complete scam!Most other reputable stores clearly post their return policy at the till - clearly visible to all shoppers.
