I always get great service from the team at Barkingside. It would be even better if I could pay cash to an inside cash machine like in all the other branches.

Very bad not open when they should be, they seem to work when they choose. Staff are friendly but extremely slow.

Thank God this brilliant building society branch is still open - the manager Anna is great as are the staff including Jacqui , Reece and Arjun have all gone well over and above - I really can?t rate this branch high enough . Thank you all loads , God bless you all DW x

Have nothing but praise for Alfie, a really kind and helpul member of staff at the Barkinside Nationwide branch, made our day by helping us open an account on a birthday, when we arrived almost as the store was closing. Thank you for being so thoughtful, he deserves a pay rise or bonus! Thanks again

Cash machine ALWAYS out of service. Pointless having a bank that closes early everyday, then doesn't have a working cash machine to use either. Will be changing bank now as i'm fed up.

UPDATE stood in the queue for 15 minutes, only two cashiers working, one a trainee, one a beginner cashier, queue practically out the door, gave up waiting as nobody was moving, 15 MINUTES WAITING FOR NOTHING! I went to SANTANDER to deposit my cash instead, followed by other customers doing the same! This branch used to be efficient, not any more, its diabolical!\\nUpdate....just when i thought it couldn't get much worse it took me 15 minutes to pay in cash today. 15 minutes is a huge amount of time considering there was only one person in front of me. Two cashiers, one on phone for 10 minutes leaving one to serve. Another cashier eventually came out to do....paperwork! The queue was out the door by the time i left. No apology for the wait. Again, \\\"do you want a receipt?\\\" ....no I will just hand over £100's and go ?\\nAnother safety concern i saw was the cashier counting out, literally £2000 cash so everyone could hear. The lady with the cash must gave felt very unsafe leaving there, I know I would! Zero safety-thought for the elderly customer.\\nI am seriously considering returning to Santander. They are helpful, friendly, have facilities to do more without having to queue etc\\n\\nVery very long wait, when eventually got served to pay in cash I was asked do I want a receipt?!! What? Of course I want a receipt I've just given you cash, why would you even ask?

Nationwide Barkingside used to be my local branch until I moved. However I popped in a few weeks ago and I was pleasantly welcomed, asked if I would like a receipt, and was asked if there was anything else the young girl could help me with. We had a little chit chat which really made me smile and I felt very looked after. I also loved the Xmas decorations, it really got me in the mood for Xmas.
