I went to the Ilford branch of Lloyds Bank at 10:00am for something very simple that should have taken no more than 5 minutes. I queued for about 15 minutes, and when it was finally my turn, I was served by an older lady (who I believe may have been Indian). After briefly explaining my request, she told me to come back at 2:00pm because they were ?really busy.?
This was surprising, as when I looked around, there was nobody behind me and no visible unfinished work that could explain such a delay. Nevertheless, I accepted and returned at 2:00pm. I queued again, but as soon as she saw me, she insisted she had told me to come back at 2:30pm?not 2:00pm. This was simply not true, and when she realised she couldn?t argue it further, she said ?OK? and let me explain my issue again.
She then said she needed to make a phone call and told me to sit down, assuring me she would call me when ready. I waited patiently for about 55 minutes without saying anything. During that time, I saw her chatting and laughing with colleagues instead of working on my issue.
Eventually, I approached her to ask if she intended to solve my problem. She claimed she had already spoken to the relevant people, but she had never called me up to complete the process. Then she looked at my passport and, unbelievably, told me she was now going on her lunch break, and I should ?come back after.?
This is simply unacceptable. Is this the level of service we should expect from a professional bank like Lloyds? Is this how they train staff to treat customers?especially those who take time out from work to resolve issues?
I left extremely disappointed and unhappy with my experience at Lloyds Ilford branch, and I would not recommend this branch to anyone.

Pathetic service, staff is rude, they got time before closing bank but they refuse to serve customer, manager should check on staff how they're working on weekends... it's really sad and worst experience

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Lloyds Bank recently. I left work early at 4:30 PM, paid £2 for parking, and even ran to the branch to make it before closing time at 5 PM. I arrived at 4:55?well within business hours?only to be met at the door by an extremely rude staff member who informed me they were closed.
Despite explaining that I only needed to deposit money into my account and that it was still before 5 PM, she dismissively told me that everything was already shut down, including the machines. There were still customers inside being served, but she flat-out refused to let anyone else in. Instead of offering any sort of understanding or assistance, she just slammed the door in my face.
It was not only unprofessional, it was outright disrespectful. I?ve never felt so undervalued as a customer. If your posted hours are until 5 PM, then customers should be served until that time?not turned away early by rude staff. Completely unacceptable.

Only needed to verify my identity for application and the lady at the desk basically lied about not being able to do it saying none of the staff were trained to do it in the branch. Went to another branch and all staff are trained to do it. So unhelpful.

She provided me with the bank statements promptly and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. She is very humble, kind, and professional, and I truly appreciate her excellent service. Terrible service. Long cues are forming but they're not dealing with customers efficiently senior citizens are struggling to stand. unprofessional staff and Highly inefficient. Regretting to open account in this bank.

Only one or two people as cashier.extremely disorganised.cashier are seems they come straight from bed.doesn?t want to work at all.very slow service.always long queues.if anyone from Lloyd?s management saw my review please sort this out.
