Awful bank and service , I went to Ilford branch in august gave them a photo ID and a proof of address to reactivate my inactive account . My account is still inactive . Helpline and all their messaging service are useless inefficient and clueless. Agent/staff/representatives don?t have a clue on how to resolve customers issues . They kept insisting I go back to the branch and join the very long cues again to do the same thing I did in august 2023

They have about 7 people on the counter but too busy talking amongst themselves. Very very slow. Like they ain't bothered. No smile either. Also the way they speak to certain individual who don't speak or understand english is very appalling!

I did not get a good experience at this branch. I had called customer service to find out how to reactivate my dormant account I was told to take my id to the branch for this. I went to the bank with my passport and after a 30min wait I was told by one of staff that I needed further id (utility bill) I asked if they could accept a digital bill to which I was told it had to be paper. I found this frustrating as I only have digital copies of all my bills, so off home I went to dig into paperwork and print out any online bills then back to the bank where I was asked to wait for someone to attend to me and after a while of waiting someone did come and directed me to a member of staff who I later found out was the manager, she rudely sent me back to wait again and finally after a long wait was the seen to. I know this is a long essay but the experience left a bad taste and on top of that no apology for the rudeness from the manager or the long wait. I came very close to closing down my account entirely. They need to do better customer service at this branch.

Staff require basic training. They are all so inconsistent. One staff member would ask just for ID and then the next staff member would ask for an invoice so basically you need to bring everything with you because even the staff members do not know what they are suppose to check for. The manager has no interest in getting involved and does not know how to run the bank effectively.

I had an inccident while I was depositing money in the machine, I deposited £3000, but received receipt for £2500. Immidiately reported to the counter, was promised me that someone will call me after counting money at 5pm. No body did. When I went next day morning to find out, I was dealt with very rude and un professional manner. One of the staffs lied to me by saying she is the manager, later found out she is not, she is simply a cashier. I have still not recieved either money or explanation yet. Very rude attitude towards customer.

Mehnaz service is very good. When I come here she helped happy
