I recently had a very disappointing experience at this store. I went in to upgrade my phone, I asked the sales assistant to show me the iPhone 16 Plus and the iPhone 16 Pro so I could compare. Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding, and throughout the process I was left under the impression that I was receiving the iPhone 16 Pro. At no point was the phone shown to me, the store?s no refund/no exchange policy was not explained, and I was not given adequate time to review the contract before being asked to sign.
After signing, I immediately realised the phone was not the model I wanted. I asked to exchange it ? not for a refund, but simply an exchange, even offering to pay extra. The request was refused.
When I asked to speak with a manager, Lanre, an assistant manager, came over. I explained the situation and asked for help, as I had not even left the store. He refused, saying there was nothing he could do. His body language and tone made it clear he was not interested in listening or helping. Another assistant manager, Zain, interrupted my conversation, he was even more extremely rude, dismissive, and unwilling to listen and he acted like he owed the sore. He was too unprofessional, and disrespectful, his body language felt like he was going to hit me, i believe he needs to learn how to communicate with customers appropriately especially women.
Neither Lanre nor Zain were wearing name badges, and only after I repeatedly asked them what their roles were, they reluctantly said, assistant managers. In the end, both refused to help, and when I asked to speak to the store manager, I was told there was ?no point? as I would simply be referred back to them.
It was only after contacting customer service online that my issue was finally resolved ? something that could and should have been resolved easily handled in store.
This was a very frustrating and stressful experience. I strongly encourage the store?s management to improve customer service standards. Patience, professionalism, and a willingness to help would go a long way in creating a better experience for customers.

They don?t explain their policy properly, kind of selling their product without proper information so later customers is stuck with high rates n false promise. They just need money nothing else.

The policy they have is very unfavorable. There is no cooling-off period if you take any contract from their store, which means customers do not have the right to change their minds. I believe they should prominently display a sign indicating their non-return policy. Once you sign a contract, you must adhere to it, even if you explain your reasons; no means no. Their company is special from others Additionally, the behaviour of the store staff is unacceptable, as they do not treat customers with respect.

Disappointing customer service at EE Ilford store
I had a very unpleasant experience at the EE store in Ilford. When I visited to inquire about getting a new contract, I was met at the door by a staff member named Zain (assistant leader), who was wearing a black jacket. Shockingly, he didn?t even allow me to enter the store properly. His attitude was extremely unprofessional, almost as if he owned the place.
When I mentioned I was interested in taking a new EE contract, his first and only question was whether I had my debit card. I told him I didn?t have it on me at the moment but wanted to learn more about the available packages. Instead of helping or even trying to explain anything, he bluntly told me to leave.
As a customer, I expected at least some level of courtesy and assistance ? especially when I'm looking to join their network. This kind of rude behaviour explains why the sales and customer satisfaction at this store might be so low. EE seriously needs to retrain their staff here on basic manners and how to deal with potential customers.
Avoid this store if you value respectful service. Very disappointing.

Avoid EE Ilford ? Misleading Sales Tactics!
I recently visited the EE store in Ilford to get a phone on contract, but unfortunately, I was misled into a deal that cost me £30 extra per month. The salesperson, Zain, added an Apple Watch and a doorbell to my contract?items I never wanted or agreed to buy. I was not properly informed about the additional costs, and now I?m stuck paying for products I didn?t ask for.
This is extremely disappointing and feels like a case of mis-selling. If you?re visiting this store, double-check your contract and ensure you?re not being pushed into unnecessary add-ons. EE needs to take action against such practices and train their staff to be honest with customers.

Went in on the 21/02/2025 to get a new contract and was helped my Eria I think that?s how you spell her name hahaha and her manager, the staff was so helpful and a delight to talk to. They went above and beyond to help me and it was greatly appreciated, yes it?s a store of young staff which I can see people have complained about in the below reviews but that doesn?t take away from the hard work they doing and the great atmosphere they create in the store !! thanks guys

Absolute nightmare?. Yet again, signed up with EE and to be sold a pack of lies and paying for two contracts !!!! I will be taking this to the ombudsman
