WORST haircut I?ve ever gotten.
I booked for a wash cut and dry, lash lift and face wax. Upon arrival I was told that there was nobody available to do a lash lift - all of the people there didn?t know how to do it. I didn?t know why this wasn?t communicated to me when they booked my appointment, however still decided to proceed with the service. This was a huge inconvenience as I?m travelling in a few days, and wanted to get all of my services done today - if I knew they couldn?t do the lash lift I would?ve booked elsewhere.
They started with the face wax, which was fine. I did notice double dipping but this seems to be standard practice in ilford. The face wax did take longer as she was taking her time to remove the small hairs- took around an hour however this was fine.
Then came the haircut, they kept asking me how much I paid to see what kind of blowdry to give me. They washed my hair with osmo products and then blowdried it. I initially thought they were rough drying it to cut it but they had forgotten about the haircut. Nobody had asked what kind of blow dry I wanted (curly or straight) either and the blow drier was so hot that it was burning my head. For reference I use a dyson blowdrier on the hottest setting - so not sure what was wrong with theirs.
The hairstylist had proceeded to ask me what I wanted, and I just wanted layers with some face framing layers and trim of curtain bangs. She started by taking a large section at the front of my head and cut it as a ?layer?. Only a straight trim at the back. When she asked me if I liked it I communicated that there was no connection with the ?layer? at the front and the back. Another stylist came and cut some layers in the back and attempted to blend the ?layer?. She did make it better - however this was one of the worst haircuts I have had. I will be contacting treatwell for a refund as I will now have to pay extra to sort this and get extra length off for no reason. Please avoid this place for haircuts if you want anything more than a straight haircut.

If you?re looking for an exceptional experience, I highly recommend requesting Reet. She is a true gem, and I will definitely be returning for future appointments. Thank you, Reet, for making my visit so enjoyable?you are amazing!

I had my waxing session with them. Nisha did the service amazingly. Very satisfied with it, I highly recommend their waxing services, will definitely come back!

I was sitting around for 15-20 minutes, for it to take 3 people to look for a card that I had previously filled in on the first visit. This whole process was annoying as I had been to the shop many times so the card must of been misplaced. The lady today attitude was harsh and unwelcoming. I can't trust someone to wax me with that kind of approach and unfriendlyness. Work on your customer service please.

I initially booked this place after seeing a voucher on groupon. A month later and I rebooting because of the great service. I had a full body (Full arms, legs and underarms) plus Hollywood and eyebrows. Upon arrival i was asked to complete a form with my details, skin and body concerns etc. I recall thinking that this established a professional environment. Nida (I think is her name) was wonderful. I told her I wasn't great with the pain and she kept talking to me to distract me. She used hot wax in the more intimate areas and cream wax in others. She did ask for support from a colleague, who for some reason didn't come. She made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. She then forwarded me to Shilpa who did my eyebrows, first wax then shaped with thread. A little thinner than I usually like but great shape all the same. She was just as lovely and bubbly. I had such a great experience. Offering both card and cash payments makes life so much easier. Definitely my to go to place.
