Placed an order on uber eats from them today and there were two items short as my order was checked right in front of the uber driver and he also confirmed that the items were short even though the bags were sealed when delivered. When I called up the Sainsbury's on Upper Sutton Lane, Hounslow where the delivery came from and spoke to the manager Melissa she denied outright that there are no shortages but the delivery driver was standing right in front to confirm that there were two items short so I told her that i will be sending the order back as this is my right and she said i am still going to charge you and you can do whatever you want and then slammed the phone down on me, even the uber driver was shocked. I told the manager prior to her putting the phone down on me that I have two video camera recordings in front of my house which have proof of what has happened she still put the phone down on me actually not put she slammed the phone down on me. Very unprofessional disrespectful manager and her name was Melissa apparently. I have just now made a formal complaint with ubereats as I have full video recorded evidence and have given this to them.

I used them yesterday through Ubereats
My grocery order never arrived because wrong order was bought to my house.
The person took it back.
No one came back.
I was charged full amount.
After ages I called the store.
Honestly no help what so ever.
I had to chase it up by chat with a robot.
Absolutely ridiculous.
The person didn?t match the pic of person on the app.( This is quite scary).
Pull your socks up Sainsbury staff surely you can do better than this.
A very unhappy customer.

Absolutely shocking behaviour from the staff! They walk around talking about customers and talk in Hindi and Punjabi. The Asian manager women and man are incompetent. The boy on the tills is always nice has the best customer service. More times the veg is off or not up to standards
. The security guard is a joke he works for Mite I?ve already made a complaint this will be my second one and i will publish the reply when I receive it. I suggest they either change the management because obviously you lead by example and I?m blaming them for their staffs behaviour.

Usually fine with no issues. My local go to for groceries/newspapers, however has recently become a horrible experience.I waked in to Sainsbury?s local today in Heston with the intent of purchasing the Sunday paper, which often comes with various magazines. I was browsing the various on sale and flicking through a few pages to check if the magazines were present, and was rudely interrupted by the security guard who accused me of reading the paper or ? Looking and taking out some magazines/codes? I have always historically flicked open papers to see if the magazines are present, and have never had an issue at this or another store. I am well aware reading the newspaper/magazine is prohibited but browsing the rack of newspapers/magazines is not, as I cannot buy them all? Neither can I read them physically in 10 seconds. Especially as some papers were missing their supplements/contents. I am an educated working professional and am extremely disappointed that I was treated in this way and made to feel like a criminal. I have seen many other, especially older folk take their time browsing the rack and have never been told otherwise. I was there for approximately a minute in total. There are many papers and one cannot just pick the first thing they see and buy it. When I questioned the security guard he said to be no, you must pick a paper up and pay for it straight away, without even looking at it. Does this work the same for food -what if I wanted to check the ingredients/allergens listed?I?ve visited the store many times with no issues in the past or any other local friendly newsagents and never had an issue. I?m appalled at this really and it has put me off coming back to this store. I did eventually purchase one paper. Beware!

I have shopped here regularly since it opened and would like to take the time to say a few words of thanks to their security guard Jehan. He has always been extremely polite and friendly with me, even assisting me to shop when I was in agony after breaking four ribs. He does his job with great professionalism and empathy, dealing promptly with each situation to ensure he keeps the staff and shoppers safe. I recently witnessed him running out in to the road to safe a young boy who ran out in to the on coming traffic while his mother was shopping in the store. He showed great courage and bravery, never once thinking about his own safety. Luckily, they were both fine.I just feel that sometimes we should take the time to appreciate people like Jahal, because they not only there to stop shop lifters, they are there to keep us safe too, and he does a pretty good job!
