I had a really unpleasant experience at the till today. The employee who served me was extremely rude in the way she spoke. Instead of handling the situation calmly and politely, she spoke in a way that was embarrassing and made me feel very uncomfortable in front of others. It could have easily been resolved with basic courtesy. Very disappointed customer service should never make someone feel humiliated.

Store is big which is great, good product selection at fair prices. The staff let it down? I saw a member of staff shout at a customer in front of me about looking at Tea towels. He was so rude and unprofessional. The staff on the tills that I have encountered are usually unresponsive and impolite, they dont greet you (which I think is just basic manners) and have not handed the receipt to me in my hand? again, I think this is disrespectful. If the staff changed their attitude then it would be better?.

Most things that you need for the house, almost all branded, some own brand, with limited frozen and fresh food, in the isles that are well spaced and marked and almost all items correctly priced at competitive price to the neighbouring German discount stores. The bigger store a few miles away also has garden centre and restaurant and is worth driving up to in-store baked savoury items that are examplary quality and best priced to competition. The downside is that is almost impossible to find any staff assistance within the store. Be careful of temptations overspending on things that are not essential.
