I phoned and made an appointment for a pedicure. Told them exactly what I wanted. They told me it would be £30. After I had my pedicure and went to pay I was charged £40. When I questioned it, they said it was a mistake. It has happened to me a few times now and it is frustrating to say the least.

Best nail shop in Hornchurch by far, lovely nails and great stuff, they do the best pedi with a nice massage, love warm towels for your hands lovely treatments in beautiful surroundings. MAKE sure you book first very busy saloon.

VERBAL ABUSE FROM MALE STAFF MEMBER.I visited the salon last Friday to get my nails done for holiday. Having been here once previously, I was looking forward to going back. However, this time I had quite a different experience and safe to say will not be coming back.I?d shown the staff an image of how I?d like my nails to be done, one detail being that the nails were square. After filing them down, the male staff member asked if I was happy with the shape of my nails - a few I asked him to tweak. I also mentioned my right index finger. For context, my right index finger is a funny shape (from a childhood accident) so my nail is not the shape of a usual fingernail as it?s a little wonky, but my nail was also short, so when I asked the man if he?d be able to square this nail off a little more he explained that it would not be possible for the above reasons, which I was totally fine about (and understanding especially due to my funny finger) and said I was happy to continue nevertheless. I was expecting him to then begin painting my nails, but instead, out of nowhere, he started shouting and screaming at me about the shape of my nail and it not being perfect and then got up and refused to paint them at all. I was so confused and shocked at the fact that I was being shouted at for no reason at all. I asked him what I?d done as I was so confused but he continued to shout over me and kept going and going, reducing me to tears. Eventually, after the whole shop went silent and everyone started staring at me, a female colleague walked over and pulled him away, and she did my nails instead. He would not reason with her and came back to shout at her and demand she took a photo of my nail so that I could not complain. The irony of it is that he was trying to avoid a complaint (which I wouldn?t have done as I was happy) but has ended up with me having to write this bad review due to his poor behaviour.I?ve never felt so humiliated and traumatised in my life. The fact that a grown man could be so unprofessional and abhorrently rude and reduce me to tears absolutely disgusts me and I will certainly not be going back. Not that I encourage anyone being shouted at, but especially not a young 21 year old girl on her own.It?s a real shame as the staff are so talented, they?ve been let down but an unprofessional and rude member of staff. If I could give the salon 0 stars after this experience, I would.
