I've had membership for almost 12 months now. This place already was over capacity in the number of members, and they still took on more members in January 2024. Gym is overcrowded and the sauna/steam room is genuinely 99% of the time fully booked, but you walk in and the room is empty. They've monopolised the booking, premium members get to book 2 weeks in advance, so us normal members rarely have a chance to book as we can only book 1 week in advance AND the sauna is closed 50% of the time everyday due to very shoddy 'safeguarding', which makes it even more difficult. Numerous complaints to management from several members, but mgmnt just don't care. The membership price increased by £10/month like clockwork in January 2024 though. They demanded and took more money but have not improved the experience at all, its worse.

The function arranged by the Lions Clubs District 105A was a grand success with most senior citizens enjoying the entertainment singing and dancing with the performers. Thevolunteers were fantastic. Over 800 people in a hall was great to see seniors enjoying themselves.

The gym it?s quiet small but the facilities are really good. Over all the gym deserves 5 ?? but the espresso at the coffee shop less than 1 ??.

if you dont book a sauna due to limited numbers, and have no colured band collected when booked on you. Then they come round to throw you out. Many people frustrated over it and many rows there. Gym is small and overall, over priced. If you fail to cancel a class within 4 hours, have to pay a penalty of £4. Happier at my old gym which is massive, and no sauna problems.

Good leisure centre but customer service needs to be slightly better at the cafe.Although overall it is a nice leisure centre.

I can't say alot about Harrow Lodge as I only go to see my grandchildren have swimming lessons there's a cafeteria with limited seating where you can watch your child but the cafeteria closes before 7pm which I find annoying as the last 15 minutes of my grandchild lesson the staff in the cafeteria kick everyone out and lock the fire exits with keys which seems stupid. The other week I was there and my daughter was feeding her youngest who's only weeks old and they kept shouting at us that we had to leave and her other littlen was still having their lesson .so we had to stand in the foyer where the ticket desk is and turnstiles utterly ridiculous.

Whilst I still miss the old leisure centre, I can't deny this is a nicer looking building and the training pool is a good temperature for those of us that struggle with cold water. It's also a reasonable depth allowing adults to swim properly, whilst also being a good depth for children.Be aware it is deeper for the afternoon public sessions, as I realised when my daughter jumped in thinking it was the lower depth and promptly went under and didn't immediately appear again!Thankfully swimming lessons paid off and she was fine, getting herself out and exclaiming "it's deeper Mummy!"She has lessons during the week at the pool and enjoys them greatly.I've not made user of the other facilities, but if all looks good. The changing village is kept pretty clean (despite the best efforts of some of the customers) and the showers are okay, though a few more would be useful.Toilets also okay. The café area is okay, but I really don't like that it is cashless only and there are no prices displayed for any items. The leisure centre really benefits from being situated in Harrow Lodge Park and there is a parkour area directly opposite, as well as outdoor gym equipment.A children's play area is also located at the other side of the carpark, which has ample parking spaces for users, including those with electric vehicles.
