Food as expected, and solid service. Atmosphere is one of the good ones. Lots of seating, not normally too busy, but can a peek times, but mostly seems clean and well looked after. I go for a early morning breakfast, so my comments are based on quiet times. Have been at peek times and all good, but not enough to make a solid statement. However, for a quiet breakfast before the day or your work starts, it's perfect and a lovely atmosphere.

As I queued for a coffee today 12th Feb, I noticed fruit flies on the cookies displayed. I mentioned to the young lady in front of me who was perusing what to buy and she decided not to. I mentioned to the staff member the other side of the counter and she waved her hand over the cake/pastry/biscuit display and a whole load of fruit flies flew up. No food at any point was taken away. On my way out I noticed the exact same display but with glass covers over them. Fruit flies are the same as any other fly and cause bacteria which Costa Coffee is then passing on to humans.

Got a hot chocolate on the £3 deal it?s the worst hot chocolate I had it wasn?t that hot and I couldn?t taste the chocolate . Definitely won?t get another one was a of money. It was really busy in there as well so had to queue for about 10 mins for a bad over priced drink.

No manners from the staff today, not even a "Hello" ask her to change my mug for a non broken one as it had a massive chip in it, again she didn't speak, just changed the mug. Highchairs were absolute filth, looked as if they hadn't be cleaned in weeks and having a child with numerous allergies you need to be a tad more cautious.

Big coffee shop. Coffee and other drinks, great as always. Staff members were a bit overwhelmed by the big number of customers but they handled it very well. The toilets need a bit more attention.

As a regular customer of costa in hornchurch i have noticed recently the service seems much better this week. The staff are now friendlier, faster and more efficient!
I met Nasib and Brandon today they were friendly and fun. I will definely return tomorrow!! Thank you costa x

Charger sockets have been broken for several months with no fixes.
Also lots of the newer staff are inexperienced, repeatedly giving wrong change, not knowing what toppings go with what drink, etc.

Went in at 9 this morning ordered a coffee to takeaway said hi no response got my coffee said bye to the lady again no response she went on to serve the next customer thank you for the reply NOT! has nobody got any manners these days and i certainly would never ignore my customers when they come in and no wonder they are advertising for staff all the time ..won't be going in again and to the owner of this branch don't bother replying!
