Really lovely people who serve you. Always do the best to help me when its just me and my two little ones they make sure I am as comfortable as possible and my children are happy too. Can't fault this costa at all. This team deserves a bonus or reward for sure real hard workers ?

This is one of the most run down Costa coffee shops I have been to, and I'm no stranger! Nearly every chair worn & ripped, almost to the point of being a safety hazard. So disappointing from such a major brand, particularly since Hornchurch is a relatively nice high street.
On the upside staff were lovely, but I don't credit this to the company at all! Won't be back sadly.

Today, I visited the hornchurch 1 and I ordered a Fudge Brownie Frappé with soya milk for my son. However, the barista with glasses who prepared the drink made an error and used the wrong milk. My son has a sensitivity to certain types of milk, so I asked for confirmation, and it turned out that the drink was not made with soya milk. While the staff member did remake the drink after I pointed this out, she forgot to add cream, and the texture of the Frappé was not as expected.
This experience was disappointing and caused a significant delay, which impacted our visit. I believe the staff member may benefit from additional training to ensure that orders are made correctly and efficiently.

On a hot day, decided to get a frappe, was told no salted caramel, asked for second choice of cookie dough, again no flavour, on a busy Saturday with no option but to go elsewhere. My colleague on Thursday visited for a latte, he was told no coffee and to walk further down to the larger costa, so it?s not just a one off, won?t be wasting my time by going here again.

Nice shop, nice and clean! Food and drink is great! Only thing is it's not got as much seating as the one 2 minutes away but does the job! If it's busy it could be hard to find a table/seat.
