“Lovely friendly/helpful staff....... AlthoughManagement I think could use a refresher course on how to speak to colleagues & customers, refused service for an item (apparently removed but had a full shelf of them) and when said colleague called over management I was shocked by her whole demeanour, straggly dressed, annoyed look on her face, "bowled around like she owned the place" then just proceeded to say "it says we're not selling, so we're not selling it", but it was the whole over tone and demeanour that got me, and a few of the other customers agreed ?I'm a an easy going person and never cause a fuss, but she really got to me ?”

“The staff in the Hornchurch store are very kind, helpful and considerate, not like the staff in the Romford branch who were down right nasty & very unprofessional and not at all helpful! Maybe that’s why it shut down? ?”

“One of many charity shops in Hornchurch. Some bargains to be had but like many charity stores they can overprice items which can sometimes be bought cheaper elsewhere for a new product. Indeed when you can buy a pack of 6 glasses at IKEA for less than a pound there's little incentive to buy second hand ones at a charity shop except of course the fact that one is helping to fund good causes. That said this particular branch has a good selection of books, including children's books, toys and DVDs.”
