The team and volunteers at BHF Hornchurch are amazing. Meeting Jo Jo today the Manager was a privilege. Her welcoming demeanour and engagement with myself and everyone was an example of pro active service. The shop is well organised, tidy and current. Her hard work should be recognised.

Always something new in this shop. We love having a rummage at least once a week! That's the beauty of a charity shop, the ever-changing stock. Staff always friendly and chatty. A special mention for their great selection of greetings cards; they're varied, good quality and cheaply priced.

Today I visit your shop in Hornchurch to donate 2 bags of good quality children's clothes. I gave them to the assistant but explained I needed to keep the smaller bag as I was going shopping. Before leaving the shop, I looked at the selection of books, only to hear the girl complaining about me. In normal circumstances I would have confronted her but as she was probably a volunteer I decided to let it go. I won't, however, donate to your charity again and suggest your staff are given some basic customer service training

An extremely paranoid women, who works at the shop screamed at a man because he was ?walking the wrong way around the shop?...the shop was all but empty. I heard it from outside the shop and decided to avoid walking in....no one should have to put up with that behaviour from a shop worker. If she is so scared about catching Covid 19 she should stay at home. Things are stressful enough without people having to put up with that....despite the tiny death rates in the UK presently....10 in the whole of the UK yesterday!

One of many charity shops in Hornchurch. Some bargains to be had but like many charity stores they can overprice items which can sometimes be bought cheaper elsewhere for a new product. Indeed when you can buy a pack of 6 glasses at IKEA for less than a pound there's little incentive to buy second hand ones at a charity shop except of course the fact that one is helping to fund good causes.
That said this particular branch has a good selection of books, including children's books, toys and DVDs.
