One of the best roasts around - lovely staff and super accommodating with substitutions. Lamb shank + pork roast were both phenomenal, and really great drinks selection (would recommend the peach cider!)

We went to the Art on Tap event in the upstairs function room. It was absolutely brilliant very talented artists.

Was here Sat and Sun for an art show, the staff were extremely friendly, happy for a chat but never stopped working! Food was incredible had the Sunday BBQ, great value for money
Elliot and Jim were brilliant, very friendly and personable, fast & efficient service as well
The man that was BBQing the food was very friendly and knowledgeable, he worked both days didn't get his name sorry! Think it was John but not sure
All the female staff were brilliant as well, very attentive to the art show and participants upstairs, keeping us topped up on water, also very fast service and very friendly!

Yea food is not great at all, bones in the fish and pretty tasteless for £££. Posting this so that management either fixes the food, or I can save whoever is reading this review to just get pints and move on??

One of the best pubs in London, amazing friendly staff, good selection of beers and the food is great, lots of both veggie and meaty options and roasts on sunday. Dog friendly too!

Go for drinks, bar staff are lovely and nice vibe in the pub but SKIP THE FOOD. Mac and cheese was ok. The roast is tasteless do not get it but regardless we stomached it. The thai green curry was inedible, not one fresh ingredient or vegetable in it, tasted like gravy.
Politely went to the bar to explain, we never usually say anything but we had to complain about the curry as it was that bad. The chef overheard then called my boyfriend over to the kitchen where he argued with him directly and refused to do anything. Very confused why we were speaking to the chef directly, this is something for front of house staff. He had to bargain for a drink WITH THE CHEF as compensation as a refund was refused despite not eating it. The most uncomfortable experience with customer service I have ever had. Complaints happen but it is how you respond which is important.

Elliot, Martha and Bee were the so lovely. I was a lone stranger in a foreign land and I had such a great Sunday roast and stellar conversation. Will be back soon!
