Disappointing lack of visible staffz especially within the self checkout areas. The whole store is in desperate need of a deep clean, especially the external signage in the Nags Head Centre which is covered in bird faeces!

I often shop at Morrisons, but recently I?ve noticed that the prices at the checkout do not always match the prices displayed on the shelves. This has happened several times, and it?s very frustrating and disappointing. Customers should not have to double-check receipts every time to make sure they are not being overcharged.
I hope Morrisons takes this seriously and improves pricing accuracy, as it is misleading for customers.

I would like to thank the charming lady Fatima I think her name was, who was assisting customers at the self checkout she was very helpful to me as the Morrison vouchers were not working. Her pleasant smile and helpful customer service made my day happy . A big thank you hope you get promoted ??.

A busy and well stocked Supermarket with an endless array of goods to buy. From Fresh Fruit and Vegetables to Aluminium Foil for your Sunday Roast. Clean and Spacious I love Holloway Road branch as I'm familiar with the area for many years. I highly recommend because its Wheelchair friendly staff bend over backwards to help you, whatever your needs are. 5 stars. Excellent place. S O Clarke.

Been coming here for years but every time I go in there are products in the wrong place, shelves mislabelled or not scanning through as the right price. I usually have to end up getting a member of staff to cancel incorrectly priced items or pay more than I intended.
On the plus side they have a good selection of products, always quite clean inside and strong air conditioning.

Price offers constantly wrong, or out of date. I am sick and tired of this Morrisons displaying the wrong prices, you only find this out when you reach the checkouts. Today, I picked up a bottle of Old Speckled Hen beer - 'more card' price £1, and 2 bottles of Hobgoblin Gold - 'more card' price 2 for £2.50. But at the till all 3 bottles came up £2.50 each, even when using the 'more card'.
The self service tills state that 'more card discounts' will be applied on payment, but this was not the case and I had to get the items refunded at customer services. Afterwards I went back to the aisles to take pictures of these supposed offers.
This problem with wrong pricing happens far too often at this store, and often I only find out that when I get home. Another problem is that you often find a stand-alone display stating 'special offer' but nowhere is the price to be seen, I have learned to ignore such displays as its often a cheat.

I've been living in this area for years and noticed a decline in this store's services since COVID. I only shop here as it is convenient and does have a decent selection. However, it's obvious that the place is understaffed and underfunded, probably due to their private equity owners
My biggest gripe and the reason for 2 stars is the mispricing and mislabeling of products AND food being sold weeks and in some cases more than a month later than THE BEST BEFORE DATE.
I am pretty sure that this is illegal and happens way too often to the point that I always check the best before dates before I put an item in the basket. I once bought and ate a pack of biscuits 3 months after the expiry date. I went back to the store to complain and showed them the biscuits that were out of date and a few days the biscuits were still on the shelf until I formally complained online.
A recent example of the mispricing is the krave cereal. They had prices for the 370g on offer but used the same pricing tag under the 750g boxes. So if someone didn't check the weight discloses on the pricing tag they could easily assume that the 750g boxes are on the same offer.
During busy periods there are times when there are 30+ people on the self checkout (including queuing) and only one member of staff.
Then the member of staff is helping a customer and the customers in the queue don't notice that other self checkout tills are available causing the queue to grow. This doesn't happen in the nearby smaller Lidl because they get another member of staff to help when the queues get too long.
Some common sights in this store are leaky ceilings with buckets on the floor, water coming out from under the refrigeration units (to be fair, staff do use a grey absorber to prevent the water going to the aisles). Lastly broken freezers with either nothing in them or defrosted ice creams.
This isn't really a knock on the staff some of them do have the look of being overworked and there are definitely rooms for improvement but the shop should be better managed.
One positive I will add is the security guards are very good at their jobs, especially the tall African security guard, given the people with mental health and drug issues in the area.
