Good place to pick up used tech and media (dvds, blu-rays etc). Shop is decked out in similar decor to other CeX shops but unfortunately seems to be in constant disrepair (which is probably down to the landlord, rather than the shop). However, more importantly is that service is relatively better than other branches so rather visit here than other stores.

Shop very Dirty like the staff do not sweep up the floor and untidy and the barrier thay have in shop is very hard for customers to see items and puts you off from buying stuff also seem to be rude and some what a bit lazy slow with service the barriers have been up for years think it's time thay come down and clean the shop staff seem very lazy in keeping shop clean but that's what you probably would expect from some of them people who work there shop a put off price's also to high for same stuff you can get cheaper on ebay.

I feel sorry for both people having to visit this place and working here. Horrible music and god-knows what?s going on the shopping floor..I was there for about 20 minutes and it gave me a headache - just close this down. I?m sure neither staff nor shoppers would mind.

CEX is a cool store for tech and entertainment! They've got a wide range of electronics, games, and movies. A great place to find what you're looking for at good prices.

Honestly worst cex ive ever been in.... & ive been in a'lot. 45 MINUTES to serve THREEE people. & then told what I've come in for i cant buy even tho there website showed it as in stock/had it on the counter in front of me ? absolute joke. + the shop was in a right state! Don't think the place has ever seen a mop/hoover.

I came in with laptop that needed certain expertise, luckily, just the guy, Cainan, was there to help who went above and beyond to help me.At a point where he didn?t even have to, he did the utmost to make sure my laptop was fixed and he was an all round pleasure to be helped by.All the other team very welcoming and nice, and my service from Cainan was second to none.Need any help, ask for that man!

We had a great experience trading in our old console and games. We got store credit which we used there and then on practically brand new games. The staff there are very knowledgeable and professional when dealing with all the varied types of customers. Will definitely be going back.

Dont go there will not refund you even £5 Was sold a samsung fast charger on Sunday 22 /1/2023 the charger was not fast charging my phone as I was nere to cex I went into the Holloway branch and told them my issue thay range up woodgreen who told them not to do a refund but when the guy sold me the charger in woodgreen he said any problem bring it back thats what I did the charger not fast charging my phone the guy in the shop in Holloway on the 22/1/2023 with love bites all over his next was didn't solve my issue because he didn't want to get in trouble with his manger for issuing a £5 refund cex do not like doing refunds and always think the customer is wrong be aware you if buy something and its not working properly on your phone will go through a long process to get a refund both woodgreen and Holloway are at thought will never shop there again there a saying the customer is always wright

Holloway Rd CEX shop. Worst experience ever. Wanted to buy Wii controller. Usually £1.50- £2 in other cex shops. Thus one was £22. When I asked why the difference from same company I was told to go and shop somewhere else by a spotty teenager.

Great Business for gadgets either buying, selling or swapping. Correct and reasonable prices. The shop itself needs some refurbishment as some parts of the shop constantly cordoned off from customers. Not to sure why. Friendly staff, would recommend them.???
