I was supposed to write this review in 2013 but seeing that the Holloway branch will close on 15th August, I thought better late than never?
I had bought my first place in Upper Holloway towards the tail end of 2012 and after a somewhat lengthy refurbishment process, it was time for carpets. It was January 2013 and the Carpetright sales were on, and being close, the Holloway Road branch was a no brainer. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Someone came over to measure the place (I?m still slightly embarrassed that I kept him waiting for a while) and soon after new carpets installed.
12 years and a wife and 2 kids later the carpets did just fine. We bid farewell to our old flat not too long ago (we needed the extra space) further afield in Southgate but hopefully the Carpetright carpet will be there still for the new owners for years to come.
Shame the store has to close. Good luck to the staff. You did well.

We went to Carpetright on Holloway Road for some last-minute carpet and installation. Barbara and Teddy provided excellent advice and service and miraculously found a way to install our carpet within 48 hours. Afterwards, Barbara even provided advice on our hardwood floors even though we didn't end up purchasing from Carpetright. Thanks for the excellent service!

We used one from south London and they made a huge gouge in our new hardwood floors after being told to be careful around the work area. Just appalling level of service and lack of due care. Do not trust the people providing the installations.

I went to Carpetrite in Holloway Road and was greeted very warmly by Donald, a very nice gentleman who has the patience of a saint. I finally chose a carpet and was given a quote. A gentleman came to my home and measured the area to be carpeted. I visited the shop again to complete the sale and changed my mind about my first choice of carpet, taking advantage of the sale that was on, Donald was very helpful, informative and patient with me, smiling all the way through. I had my carpet fitted today by three gentleman who laid the carpet so well, I've tried hard to find a fault, no luck, it looks so lovely, can't stop looking at it and clawing my toes through it. Points 250 out of 100, I am so happy.
