Extremely Disappointing Customer Service!
I had a very poor experience with the staff at this store. There was no sense of professionalism or willingness to help?certainly not the kind of first impression any customer would hope for. I visited the store specifically looking for a breakfast bar leg, which I had seen advertised on their website. However, the staff were dismissive and unhelpful, immediately telling me they didn?t have the item without making any effort to check availability or offer an alternative solution, such as placing an order.
What was most disappointing was the complete lack of interest in assisting a customer. Based on other negative reviews I?ve come across, it appears this is not an isolated incident. It?s concerning that B&Q has allowed such unprofessional and unhelpful behaviour to continue unchecked. A serious review of customer service standards seems long overdue.

All staff were friendly and helpful, especially Lee who answered all my questions and provided me with very detailed instructions on how to fix my problem. Thank you!

I had exploded expanding foam all over my bathroom and Sophie was so helpful finding the right thing to clean it up!

worst bn q ever!!dont go there,i visited the store on the 22/3/25,as i entered the store the where two female cashiers african and one mixed race,as i do not know there names,the african lady asked if i needed help,i said yes,i need a platstic with 3 compartments,straight away she said we DONT HAVE ANY!,i said ok i will have a look,and i found what i was looking for,i went to the cashier to pay and i heard them having a conversation,should we follow him but the african lady was wise and said we cant do that,i went to pay at desk and paid with mixed race girl,but then,i noticed,that the price i paid was more expensive than the one shown on label,so i told the mixed race lady that she needs refund me and sale me for the price that the are advertising as it is the law,but she said the prices change all the time,and she cant give me for the price i saw,but she will give me a refund,i was really disappointed so i said refund me then,so she took me to african lady,to refund me,african lady said your receipt with an attitube,i gave her the receipt,then another customer asked her something,and she started having a conversation with the other customer instead of just refunding me,she was wasting my time that is very rude,she did like i wasnt even there,this whole ordeal lasted 5 minutes,then i said can you just refund me please,i want leave,but she kept ignoring me and taking her time,finally she refunded me,back gave me wrong change,bravo now she didnt even know what she was supposed to do,so i told her give me right change,she gave me right change and didnt even appologise for wait my time,i told her i will get my item somewhere else which i did.this bnq is worse in london,staff need training all rude and fake,or just bring in new staff and close store.0 star service discusting i am never shop there again.

Rude and unhelpful. Save yourself the time and visit the family-ran DIY store down the road instead.

I was able to shop easily in this local shop and find what I needed quickly and easily. The staff were very friendly and I received very good customer service. I will definitely be back! Thanks for all the help!

When there quite a few times. It's amazing to have a hardware store with these opening hours. The low ratings here really don't consider this enough. The staff is always quite chill and always ready to help. Highly appreciated.

Store is great for your general DIY goods! I came into store and they didn't have what I wanted however they managed to order what I needed and I collected it the following day. I was informed that the hours on google are incorrect. They actually close at 7pm on Saturday!!

Unsure as to why so many low reviews.
This B&Q is always clean and well kept, staff are all friendly and happy to help.
I was unsure on several products as there is so much choice and the staff were quick to help and give me in-depth advice on each product to suit my needs.
Overall very knowledgeable and polite.
I have also ordered online and collected in store and again great customer service.

Ordered click and collect bag of cement, they tried to give me broken bag. Probably the worse customer service on earth, finally got refund three months later. I would warn not using their complaints, or you will be inundated with spam. They also do not answer their phone. Appalling, and incompetent, welcome to the UK, hence zero stars.
