I ordered some plain naans, garlic naans and Chana masala for dinner (takeout). None of the food tasted fresh - the naans in particular were rubbery and tough to chew. The Chana masala barely had flavour. I wouldn?t eat here again if I visited the area.

I had a great experience dinner was extra ordinary the GARLIC CHILLI CHICKEN was amazing it?s help my sinus clear sizzling Chicken shaslik Tandori Mix. Grill fantastic and Mr fois was fun person and his team were tremendous and exceptional service we have received thank you again we will be back

disappointing....use to be excellent Indian takeaway and their bhunas were hard to beat but had one tonight and not great....chicken chewy, sauce abit gloopy and not up to standard, might have to find another takeaway curry house for future takeaways

I was really disappointed with my experience. I wanted to order Paneer Tikka Masala, but the restaurant recommended Paneer Jalfrezi instead. Unfortunately, it was bland and tasteless. I also requested the food to be spicy, but it wasn?t spicy at all. The stuffed kulcha naan was underwhelming too. On top of that, the food took over 30 minutes to arrive, and the bill came much later than expected. Overall, the slow service and poor food quality made for a very frustrating experience. The only thing I liked was the lassi, but I won?t be returning.

Had a lovely meal, relaxed atmosphere and never rushed. Buffet lunch on Sunday caters for all family young and old, lovely flavour but not too spicy for younger people.

This used to be my favourite curry house. Yesterday, I ordered the same thing I've always ordered and the food was so chilli that none of my family could eat it. And I have a very high pepper tolerance. My stomach and tongue still ache from the small amount of food I was able to digest and therefore I cannot return to this establishment. Food that hot should come with a health warning and hopefully this review will serve as a warning to others to be careful.

The Darjeeling on Lee High Road, Lewisham, is an absolute local gem. Offering exceptional Indian cuisine, each dish is bursting with flavour, from the Chicken Tikka Masala to the perfectly spiced Lamb Bhuna. The friendly and attentive service makes you feel valued, and the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. With its perfect balance of great food, warm hospitality, and excellent value, The Darjeeling is a must-visit for anyone in the area. Nice to feel valued snd not ripped off.

We ordered dinner through Deliveroo, and we were very disappointed. There was no tracking time for the order, which eventually took an hour and 20 minutes to be prepared and delivered. We called the restaurant a few times, but nobody picked up. Then the driver arrived at the wrong building and unfairly blamed us for putting the wrong address. The food itself tasted good.
