Love this traditional caff. One of my favourite South East London haunts and one of the best examples of what a good quality caff can be. The build your own breakfast is outrageous value and takes a few tries to get your order rights as it's easy to go overboard in terms of 'eyes bigger than stomach'.
Service is friendly and quick and I've never had a bad experience here. Love it.

I went to Maggie?s and honestly, the whole experience was disappointing. The staff looked like they didn?t even want customers there ? very unfriendly and unwelcoming. The food was terrible, probably the worst breakfast I?ve ever had in my life. Definitely wouldn?t recommend.

Nice little cafe i found today for a breakfast sandwich and a coffee. On the plus side the food was nice. Perfectly cooked egg, quality bacon and a tiger roll. The service was fast enough, but they did seem under staffed. There were dirty plates left on tables. Despite this I'd still recommend.

Sat 2nd Aug '2025: First timer eating here and the breakfast was DELICIOUS. Wow, everything was on-point! I most definitely recommend and will certainly be going again when I am next in South heading home through Lewisham ?

Nice cosy cafe, service was friendly. Food was ok, not up to most the reviews I read. My chicken was over cooked. Wanted to like it more. Hopefully it will go back to what it seems like it was like in the past by reading the other reviews.

Attended with my parents after seeing a post on TikTok, we were greeted by a gentleman who told us we could sit anywhere. Once seated, we were asked if we'd like to have tea or coffee whilst we browsed through the menu.
Whilst looking through the menu, we were spoilt for choice with the many options to choose from but settled for the create your own breakfast for £12.95.
I had bacon, scrambled egg,sausage, gammon, and chips, whilst mum and dad both had scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon,gammon, black pudding and baked beans ( ik greedy people) ? . To drink, we had the house tea and coffee, which entitled us to bottomless refills. We also was given 6 slices of toast each.
The food was lush, I wasn't too keen on the scrambled eggs as i like mine a little more dry as opposed to being moist. The toast was nicely toasted, and the butter melted on top was perfect. Dad enjoyed the black pudding and said it was different from how we make it back home in St.lucia. overall, we had a great time there, and we left fully satisfied ? with big bellies in towe lol.

Really great cafe. Their breakfast lives up to any hype you've heard being able to pick your own and get a huge breakfast that tastes great for a really reasonable price are all amazing you even get bottomless tea included. Service is incredibly friendly would definitely recommend especially now they're open on Sundays too!
