“We've been going to specsavers on Lewisham for years. Even though staff change they're generally friendly and helpful. They were really busy but still efficient and polite, the optician I saw apologised for the delay, was patient and explained everything well, I felt valued. Imilia one of the assistants was particularly helpful on both days with myself and my 2 teens, giving excellent customer service. All I would say is if you belong to the LBGTQ+ community perhaps ask for a sympathetic optician. Unfortunately my teen saw a different optician to me and was misgendered throughout the visit, and only directed to the 'ladies' glasses (another optician referred one section being round glasses the other square not by gender). I thought perhaps the records hadn't been up dated but when I turned over the prescription it clearly stated Mr. The comments were said to me not only to my teen, so it wasn't just a 'simple' mistake, it was deliberate. It was a shame as everyone else was friendly. This incident means they get 4 not 5 stars.”
