Went into Halfords Hendon , with not much clue as to what bike I wanted or what accessories I needed .Was helped by a very informative well mannered man called Charlie .I got everything I needed very quickly and painlessly would definitely recommend this store for any bike needs.

The staff are so helpful.I needed some tyreweld and was having problems trying to find it.One of the young assistants helped me out giving me great customer service.By chance I mentioned that I wanted a bike for my eldest daughter and she took me up to see the comprehensive selection they have on their mezzanine floor.Well impressed and will be back there to buy a bike.

This review is for the whole "click and collect" process, which has been pitiful, painful and pathetic.I place the order online OK and get an email back promptly with an invoice attachment, but neither the invoice nor the email mentioned that it was for collection nor where nor that I would be contacted when I could collect my order.Then I got 2 emails saying "have you forgotten something?", but neither even hinted at what I might have forgotten.I did not receive any other text or email about my order, so after 10 days I tried to track my order using the order number on the invoice and it was not recognised!So in the end I had to ring customer services and was told it was in store at Hendon. I asked why I didn't get a message saying this, but there was no reason. I also asked why the tracking didn't work, so the service agent tried with the same result.So I went to the store at Silk Bridge and the cycle agent couldn't find the item. He called the back office and was told it should be there. So he looked again and this time he finally found it.All in all a sorry story which has convinced me never to order click and collect at Halfords ever again.

"Very Bad Team Communications"Placed and order at 25 of feb Sunday and told them to i will come and collect at 1 of march Friday.the deputy manager was nice women she tired to help gave the refund and told she will contact me to collect the parts for free once they arrive to store (much appreciated for effort to help and I don't think parts will arrive, i will leave it as it but thanks for help)What was Frustrating , i went to store on friday and i was told it will come after 2 hours by halford staff. Since i was in rush and i told i will come tomorrow. the parts didnt come to store after 2 hours and they did not pass the informations to another members or they didn't chase up. I went to store on saturday and there was no part and waited another 1 hours 30 mins more and no parts.wasted my time and fuel visiting stores.

I gave in my car for a major service and asked for certain issues to be diagnosed. I also asked for the engine to be flushed.I phoned in that evening to check whether the problems had been identified, but whoever was answering the phone kept putting the phone down without updating me - this happened on three occasions.When I went to collect my car the following day, I expected the assistant to explain what had been done, but he just handed me the key and carried on doing whatever he was doing. I had to prompt him to find what had been done, but he was completely clueless and said everything should be highlighted on the report sent to me by email.I checked the report at home and it didn't mention any of the issues I had highlighted. I'm so annoyed as I've only recently bought the car and needed to send the report to the dealership in order to get the problems rectified.A complete waste of money and time. My family and I have used Halfords in Acton previously and they're very thorough in comparison. When you collect your car, the mechanic meets you with the assistant who booked your car in and goes through each issue identified, including detailing the likely cost to repair the issue.I will now have to take my car to another garage to check the issues I've noticed, incurring further charges. I should've read the reviews on here and gone elsewhere, but my previous experiences had generally been very good. I'm extremely disappointed and will not be using Halfords again in future..
