It?s a Wagamama. You?d think you can?t go wrong with it but sometimes things go not exactly the way they?re supposed to. Nonetheless, we always come back because it?s Wagamama :)

I?ve been eating at Wagamama for years and have always had a great experience in person ? the staff have been accommodating, friendly, and happy to make small adjustments to dishes when needed. But today I had one of the most frustrating and disappointing customer service experiences ever, and it?s made me completely rethink supporting the brand.
I called the Hampstead branch right after placing a Deliveroo order, simply asking them not to include egg in my Chicken Udon. I wasn?t asking for a swap or a complicated change ? I just didn?t want the egg pieces added. I?ve had this same request handled in-restaurant for years with no issue.
The woman on the phone told me very bluntly that Deliveroo orders ?cannot be changed at all? no matter what ? even though the food hadn?t been prepared yet. She acknowledged that it was a small ask and not an allergy, just a preference, yet still said no.
When I tried to explain that I have a restrictive eating issue and that there is only one thing on the menu I feel comfortable eating, she cut me off and told me, ?Maybe you should go vegan then.? I can?t even explain how dismissive and tone-deaf that felt ? especially from someone in a hospitality role.
I moved to a place, where there?s no longer a Wagamama, so when I get the chance to order, it?s a big deal for me. And instead of a supportive, consistent experience, I was met with a complete lack of empathy and refusal to help.
I ended up spending £7 more to get something else that didn?t even hit the same ? just to avoid egg
So so sad and so disappointed, inconsistent service

We like wagamamas but the staff here are very poor. We have had three bad experiences. Twice they put the wrong food items on our bill. Another time a girl waitress was extremely rude/sassy to my wife - we left immediately.

Incredible experience at Wagamama today. As I walked in, I was immediately approached and seen to by Luna who allowed us to choose a seat where we felt most comfortable. She accommodated to our needs as much as possible, always making sure we were satisfied. Quality service!

Used to order quite a few times from this Wagamama on Deliveroo, however they recently have stopped allowing me to call in and get certain sauces removed from dishes, they used to be able to. They said they are not allowed to make changes over the phone, is it possible to get the store to enable customers to add notes to their deliveroo orders. I called and asked Deliveroo who said it?s Wagamama that needs to.

We actually did not enjoy the food that much. Maybe it was our choices. The drinks never arrived until we asked again. Disappointing visit overall.

Just what I needed after a cute walk with my mum. Was craving duck gyoza and pork buns and the hit just the right spot. All the food came out one after the other all cooked beautifully. Shout out to Ari, she was so sweet and let us switch tables for my mums back problem with no issues. Also order food to go after we ate, came out with no issue and was still as good when we got home. Paying online was super easy and Ari was very clear in how to do it so no issues. Overall great end to our evening.
