Friday 9th February. I went to swiss cottage Vision Express.As I only needed some help to fix the glasses' nose pad I didn't need to buy new pads as a mouth earlier I bought them from the same shop and they fixed them but one of the pad falls. I thought it was making sense to go back to the same shop. When I asked if they were going to charge me the assistant said not .She went inside a room with my glasses and the nose pad inside an small plastic (I carried myself in the small plastic bag) when she came outside the room She changed her mind and she told me that they had to charge me because they needed to use their tools so she gave me my glasses and the nose pads. I didn't like at all how she approached me, I left the shop and I went next door Personal Eyez When I asked to the man if he could help me automatically said yes and without any charges, but unfortunately when I took the nose pad from the small plastic bag the pad was broken. This is my question did the woman from Vision Express broked it and that is why she changed her mind? Anyway as I had an spare nose pad at home the next day which was Saturday I went back to Personal Eyez but the shop was closed ( they close Saturdays) I went to Specsaver in Finchley road and they fixed the nose pad for me with an smile and for free.I will never go back to Vision Express again

I have gone here for eye tests 2x now and both times I had a really good experience. This time, Ash was very sweet to me and was particularly helpful; she really went out of her way to help me out with picking out my frames and generally helping with everything else. I recommend this branch and Vision Express as a whole for eye examinations.

Dear Mr Köksal,I hope this email finds you well,I am client of vision express Swiss Cottage branch. I am finalising the contact lenses process and trial.I was very happy with Priya the optometrist and Ash sales assistant and wrote a brilliant google review accordingly. Unfortunately today I have to delete it.They staff at the branch are well aware that I am a cancer patient. Very unfortunately, on Saturday 20th Jan I went to the branch and the front desk lady couldn?t find my appointment in the computer , I showed her the email and text confirmation and took me to another computer to check. A colleague came to assist and eventually I was told I had to wait as they couldn?t find me but the will fit me in between appointments, which Inwqs grateful for.Unfortunately some of the undesirable side effects of cancer treatments is incontinence, bladder and bowel problems.After a waiting for a while, I felt in real need of going to the toilet, I asked kindly to please let me use the toilet explaining that I am a cancer patient and I was really desperate, I was told NO by not one but 3 of your employees. Two of them said said the toilets are for the staff and not for public use, the third said they didn?t have , I implored to make an exception taking into account my disability and condition and I was refused and invited to walk out of the shop and visit a nearby McDonalds. By this time any sudden move felt very risky and I was getting increasingly stressed second by second, physically sick and humiliated by the refusal of your staff and by the fact that not one person from vision express staff took my illness into consideration . I find this inhuman, unkind, and shows that they were unable to take a decision to make an exception to their toilet company policy of staff only use.By then I was in tears and incredibly upset, I open the door to leave the premises but it was too late. I was already soiled . Then I gave a thought and came back into the shop and told them it was too late and the damage was already done, so I was going to have my appointment done as I wasn?t intending to come back to the shop again.I am writing to you to let you know that I find disgraceful the behaviour of your staff towards a client clearly in need, this tells you the lack of empathy and absolute disregard towards a disabled ill person with cancer.I do understand they are not obliged to let clients use the toilet as ?staff only use? is the company policy regarding their toilets, however sometimes a little bit of kindness goes a long way when there is a person in need, they showed a lack of decision making as one of them ( I.e. shop manager could have make an exception, but she chose not to, instead the all walked passed me seeing me upset and in tears.To clarify further, my appointment was at 9:30 am on a Saturday morning and the shop was not busy at all, in fact I think I was the only client left when I was about to leave the premises.When I sat back on the chair the optometrist mentioned that she couldn?t carry out the test because of the tears on my eyes. I was given some tissues dried my eyes and continue with my appointment in such a state.Not very pleasant at all, left me feeling really low and disheartened about how this society has become so ill and selfish.I really hope if they one day become sick or any of their loved ones, to remember me and become more empathetic perhaps.Kindest regards,Carmen Naya Castanos

Wrong opening hours. Made all my way to pick up the spectacles and the shop was closed. Lady in shop just pointed at the hours on the window and left.

I visited the practice with my wife recently for the first time for eye tests. The service and staff were excellent. Everything ran to time and the advice given was clear and practical. The two members of staff that we met with were Lukshana the optometrist and the young lady who carried out initially tests using the scanning machine. Great to see a chain offering such personalised and caring service.

While there might be a short wait, it usually never longer than 10 minutes. It's evident that the staff genuinely cares and invests time with each customer. During my frame selection, the associate displayed remarkable patience, going above and beyond by offering me contacts. I've gone in for my readjustments since and they really make sure they get it right and you are satisfied before walking out. I am a happy customer and will highly recommend!

Consistently incompetent.*edit* originally I left this review due to how disorganised vision express have been with me?.Now, after visiting with another opticians, I have come to find out that the glasses they prescribed me were /completely/ wrong!I always felt that they were off - my vision didn?t feel corrected properly. But now it is confirmed I was right! I lived with glasses that I couldn?t see out of properly for nearly two years. My bad for assuming they must know best ?????
