Nice pea & watercress soup I had served with toasted bread slices, portion of skinny fries as a side which were surprisingly yum & almost / just as good as a chunky chip, checked it out inside was small, dark & noisy (better for a drink), chill evening to sit outside & easier to talk, more peaceful but still atmospherical & alive?

Super cute pub at the end of small little side road in Hampstead Heath area. Not too loud or busy on a Thursday late evening. Nice they have low / alcohol free options available.

Had a delicious Sunday roast here. Unlike the other pubs I tried to book online a couple of days before, it had a table available INSIDE and when we got there it was a nice spacious one in a good spot even though there were only 2 of us. It was refreshing to be able to order pork shoulder rather than the usual pork belly roast too. Service and beer recommendations from LEXE were great and when we overstayed it was no problem for them. Full marks!
