Visited a couple of times over the weekend and staff have always been very helpful. The store, despite it's size has a decent stock of items. Price-wise it was actually cheaper than amazon and other nearby retailers at least on the things I bought.

Went in looking for distilled water. They had ionized water and actually looked up the difference to make sure I wasn't getting something I shouldn't. Very helpful and friendly shop people.

Another excellent branch of Robert Dyas. Really extensive, interesting and useful selection of products, good quality brands and helpful, friendly staff. Very pleased to have this store locally.

Very rude assistant manager and customer service are not helping at all , I wasn?t happy with the product and it was faulty and I have the receipt and the assistant manager she was rude and unprofessional . I will advise to everyone not to purchase any product from this company

Bad. Went in to do an exchange, the item I wanted was on a high shelf. No problem, I get an assistant who climbs up a ladder. I tell her it is for an exchange, so get told her colleague will deal with it. After waiting 5 minutes the colleague tells me it is going to be 15 minutes, as there is someone else in front of me as well as the man she is serving...(the colleague is processing a store loyalty card ).

Rude staff, I bought a Stainless Steel item that become rusty, I went into return as SS should not rust and it became and interrogation and a fuss. This is why retail shops are closing down, next time I will just order from Amazon or John Lewis.

I had an important DHL parcel containing documents delivered there for pick up. It was a nightmare to get it! First time I get there a guy in glasses tells me if I don't have ID document I can't get it. Annoying yes, but fair enough, I'll get there tomorrow before work. The day after I find the same guy, I walk in asking for my parcel, he says "go downstairs, I have to serve this client now (he came behind me by the way)". I get downstairs and wait for a few minutes and nobody ever came. Super annoyed and late for work I leave. I get there after work on the same day once again. For the third time I ask for the parcel, the same guy in glasses tells me that he has to serve another client (he and other two staff members were all standing near the door with no clients when I came in). He delegates a woman to do it. She finds my parcel and when I take my passport out of my pocket she says "because there is a signature required we don't need your ID". I would have wanted to tell him a few words but then I decided I shouldn't waste any more time. I would advise everyone to avoid this place at all costs of they don't want their time wasted because of incompetent staff like the man described above. I will never set foot in there again, not that I ever had before, the shop is old and narrow and everything is overpriced. AVOID!!!

Most rubbish experience I have ever had in any store ever. Don't come to this store as they will mess you around and don't know their own process. Spoke to Karen to return a fridge and we had to call customer service to get the information. It's a simple return but she made it complicated and wasted over an hour.None of the staff seem to be trained and don't know return or refund processes. Won't be coming back to this store. Terrible management.
