The quality of the crepes themselves is very high, they have the perfect texture and are sweet yet buttery. My favourite is the banana and chocolate one as they are very generous with the fillings and it tastes delicious! However, the cheese crepes tend to have too much butter in them and are quite greasy.

This is a lovely little creperie in Hamstead. They have all the usual flavorr. We especially liked the ham and cheese, the ham, cheese, and mushrooms, and the spinach. Great quick dinner, and a love afternoon snack.

There are queues that test your patience, and then there?s the one outside La Crêperie de Hampstead?a ritual, a rite of passage, a scented promise of something golden and folded. Since 1977, this tiny stall on Hampstead High Street has been serving up crêpes that are anything but ordinary.
Atmosphere Forget polished interiors?this is street-side charm at its finest. The scent of sizzling batter, the hiss of butter on the griddle, the chatter of locals and tourists alike. It?s a place where time slows down, and anticipation builds with every step forward in line.
The Crêpes Each crêpe is a performance:
Nutella & banana ? warm, gooey, and unapologetically indulgent
Cheese & mushroom ? savoury, earthy, and perfectly crisped at the edges
Lemon & sugar ? a minimalist masterpiece, tart and sweet in perfect balance
The batter is thin, the fillings generous, and the fold?always precise. There?s no seating, no frills, just the joy of eating something made with care, right there on the pavement.

Yes, it's a decent crepe. But I feel like it's less than a mission to jump on the train to Stansted, catch a flight to France and eat a crepe there than tackling this 1h queue.

This place just isn?t what it used to be. I?ve been coming here for over seven years, and the crepe quality has dropped drastically!!! Either the recipe or the supplier has changed. I usually go for the Nutella banana crepe, but now the staff are extremely stingy with the ingredients, almost as if they?re rationing them. You?re left with a sad, under-filled crepe that tastes nothing like the rich, indulgent treat it used to be?

I grew up in Hampstead, this has been a mainstay for years. Crepes are famous because they are simply great HOWEVER? a victim of its own success the queues are horrendous and the worst part is the staff there are unbelievably rude, I?m blown away ? by the lack of manners and respect for clientele. I will never order here again.
Honestly the lady in charge last Sunday shouldn?t be allowed to be working in a public environment. Horrifying attitude.

Definitely one of the best creeps I?ve had and so much to choose from I will definitely return to try other menu items

Please don?t go here, the service is terrible, these people are incredibly rude and they don?t ever accept cards, which is nuisance. Just go to the stall next to them - much betters crepes, very nice people and they accept cards.

The crepe is good but the staff is very rude and impolite.

The crepe was alright just not the friendliest service. Might be a wee bit overrated. Would much prefer being served with a smile. One of them was on the phone and didn?t use a hand sanitizer when preparing my crepe ? go to the other crepe stand on the left. That gentleman looked a bit friendlier (:

Very unpleasant staff. It even put me off ordering. They don?t take card payments.

I recently visited La Creperie de Hampstead, a famous spot that?s been serving crepes for over 43 years, and it?s still going strong! I tried the crepes with spinach and sun-dried tomatoes, as well as the spinach and mushrooms, and both were just fantastic.
They offer a great variety of sweet and savory options, so if you?re in Hampstead, make sure to stop by?just be prepared for a queue, as it?s always busy! It?s definitely worth the wait.
One thing to note: they accept cash only, which could be updated given the current digital times. Other than that, it?s a must-visit for anyone craving authentic crepes!

Gr8 crepes! You pay a bit more than usual for this sort of food but well made and delicious! Good fresh ingredients. Been around for 43yrs!! Opening another branch near West Hampstead tube station soon!
