Had a great smooth experience at this shop with an Amazon return via Evri. Tried 3 other shops unsuccessfully who all had issues with their Evri printer. Costcutters Hampstead had everything working perfectly!

A disappointing experience. I was informed my scooter was not allowed, so I assured them it was a manual scooter, as their signage specifically said ?No ELECTRIC scooters? ? as with tube stations. After a short debate on the clarity of the guidance, the polite young lad said I could fold it up, which I did, though this seemed pointless; it creates an obstacle whereas an upright manual scooter is harmless and easy to control in tight spaces. At this point the senior gentleman repeatedly accused me of ?getting angry? and repeatedly asked me to go outside and observe the guidelines else he would ask his staff not to serve me. This was disrespectful and wholly inappropriate. In the end I accepted that they didn?t allow any scooters, but I made what I termed a ?fair? point in that that sign was clearly ambiguous and misleading. I do acknowledge that when engaging the folding mechanism of my scooter, I let it ?clank? onto the floor which did perhaps express my irritation. However, at no stage did I raise my voice or use harsh words, so the accusations felt condescending and unwelcome, especially when repeated. I felt all they needed to do was say ?apologies, sir, but we?ve experienced a lot of crime and antisocial behaviour around scooters, but we can see you?re not creating any problems, please go ahead?. Instead, the stares I received on entry, and the following aggression, seemed judgemental. I might be using a scooter and wearing a hoody and headphones, but there?s no need to make assumptions on my character? Common sense is required, sometimes. The young lad kindly assisted me when the scanner needed rebooting and I assured him I didn't mean to sound annoyed.*EDIT*: I accept the gentleman's apology and appreciate it. I also apologise, for displaying irritation, though I was not rude or condescending. I respectively disagree about the signage; let me explain with constructive criticism which might help the owners. If you own a scooter and see on the door NO ELECTRIC SCOOTER, you won?t pause to scan the symbols in case further down it says ?no manual scooters either? ? you will obviously assume a manual variant is allowed, as I did. They just need to change the sign to ?NO SCOOTERS, MANUAL OR ELECTRIC? or if a folded one is allowed put that in brackets after the text too? Job done, clear as a bell. I would point out though, that a folded scooter is an obstacle whereas an upright one is easily controlled. It is not unreasonable to allow these, think of children?s scooters, parents with prams ? are you going to ban these because some idiot, with no legal grounds, tries to sue you? Also, one would certainly not want to leave a scooter unattended outside, that is out of the question in London. As the gentleman said, learnings on all sides here.

I love this shop and all of the staff so much! They really feel part of the local community. I visit here many times a week to send parcels and the staff are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Often give me a laugh and even gave me donuts on my birthday- I wouldn?t take my parcels anywhere else!

I have used this shop for the last two years on my way to my after school clubs in nearby schools and I always get 1st class service as well as high quality food, including freshly baked bread, cakes and donoughts. Today I even got a free box of Krispy Kreme treats for my pupils, who were overjoyed. Thank you for helping me make my last club extra special and for your professional and courteous service all year around.

I'm so lucky to have this awesome store close to me. All the staff are super friendly and helpful, and they know their stuff. Plus, I use this place as my Amazon locker and Evri parcel shop, and they always come through for me. One time, I had an issue with an Amazon refund label, but Tirth totally saved the day and fixed it in no time. I was seriously impressed and highly recommend this store to all locals.

I use this shop very regularly as it is near my home. Staff are always so nice. Prices are good. I just really like this shop. People that are giving it bad news are obviously just hurt by the fact that they do things properly and not just give out parcels to randoms with no ID it seems.
