Nice choice but this place makes M&S feel cheap. Post office queue also huge.

AVOID IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH, their hygiene is here is garbage. The bread they sell is mouldy. The produce as well. The hot food section always gives me an upset stomach afterwards. Check the other reviews if you don?t believe me, all complaining about the mouldy food.
It?s a shame because I love the concept, but you?re spending premium bucks on rotten food.
Pictured below are three different packs of bread, all ?fresh?.

One of the finest stores in London!

Third time I get bad fish or seafood at the fishmonger. Never buying from them again.

As many have commented already this is a nicely stocked store with a good array of products, albeit at the higher price end.My review is limited to the use of plastic packaging: for some items, like the fresh pasta, it?s simply excessive. What?s the point in offering a refill service for washing up liquid in one part of the store (which is good!) if you?re going to undo it with excessive plastic packaging elsewhere? Please change this Kavanagh?s.

Probably the best Budgens in the world. Huge meat, fish, cheese counters. Seasonal veg. Helpful and friendly staff. It?s one of the things I miss most about moving away from Hampstead. It?s just such a friggin good shop!

I just had to leave a review for this fabulous supermarket. Incredible selection of fresh and organic fruit and veg, GREAT kosher section, and lovely treats lining the shelves - but the best part for me was the fishmongers. I keep kosher but also have a severe allergy to shellfish and molluscs. The fishmonger in store really put me at ease with his knowledge of kosher fish as well as his awareness of allergies. He thoroughly cleaned his tools, the counter etc and washed the fish i bought well. He filleted up a red snapper for me which I'd never had before, and WOW! It was so fresh - at a level of freshness I've only gotten from coastal towns in Ireland where I grew up. I will be returning without question!

A lovely supermarket with a great selection. A little pricey but I have to give an extra star for a surprisingly good selection of Lithuanian products I will definitely come back!

Lovely grocery shop that?s been around for ages. This time I felt like an ice tea and ham sandwich for under £10, great deal.

Just bought 2 store made baguettes from Kavanagh's in Belsize Park to share with my family. The unanimous view was that they are the worst sandwiches we have had in a very very long time. Both baguettes hardly had any filing in them and were truly tasteless - so much bread and little content. We found minuscule pieces of bacon in the chicken bacon sweetcorn and found the the southern fried chicken baguette dry. They were £5.50 each. There was no redeeming feature and I wish I could return them - had I lived close by - But they have ended up in the bin.
