This pub was AMAZING as an unexpected find for a meal before a show at the Event IM Apollo. We saw a matinee show so we?re there for lunch. Staff couldn?t be more attentive, and the food was stunning. For the set menu price as well, it was a no brainer. Incredible little find and perfect for family, date nights and pre-show meals.

Been going to this pub on and off for years but held a party here for the first time for mum?s 80th. It couldn?t have gone better. The venue, food and drinks are all great but what really makes it are the staff - every one of them as wonderful as the last. Special mention to Maisie and Elise but a massive thank you to Francesca and all of the team. You all made the day so special. Mum has already asked me to book Xmas dinner there!

Big garden at the back. Very popular in the summer. I bring my dog sometimes. A younger and friendly crowd mostly.
However, the price of a pint or Beavertown was £8.40. A painful memory indeed.

Absolutely lovely pub, fabulous service, and great food!
Have just taken my nieces out to lunch at the Queen's Head and it was outstandingly good.
Pub itself has always been great (terrifyingly, just worked out have been going there on and off for 40 years!), and for last few years service has been wonderful too.
What has changed since I last went there to eat (quite a while ago) is the food. OMG it was delicious. Lots of choice & big range of options from picky bits to full on meals - we tried half the menu & rolled out replete some hours later. Our top favourites from today were the warm brownie (serious buyers remorse at not ordering the bigger version - sadly for us we were too full!), the crab arancini and the lamb chops. The triple cooked chips were also excellent.
We were looked after so beautifully by lovely Detroit & Michael from the bar. Amazing service - things we hadn't even known we needed suggested before we even thought of them, so kind, nothing too much trouble, and picked up on the fact we were celebrating a birthday and brought out pudding with candles and singing 'Happy Birthday' which thrilled our birthday girl.
Also super dog friendly which is great for me and my tiny aged dachshund who was welcomed like the princess she thinks she is.
Now plotting how soon I can go back. Thank you all at the QA including inspired kitchen team - you are all the best & very highly recommended!

Seemingly small pub but this place is a tardis. with a large dining area a garden getting a table for food is easy with plenty of choice. I went for a works social and they catered to our needs very well! Food was very good also.
