This gym has gradually got worse and worse over the last 3 years that I have been going. Firstly being closed for long periods of time last year without us being reimbursed at all. Secondly, the price has continued to increase under our noses, for no real reason, other than corporate greed... The facilities haven't improved and it hasn't gotten less busy. It is now incredibly overpriced and other gyms in the area are charging less for much better equipment. Thirdly, it has become totally oversubscribed. It seems that since the refurbishment they haven't capped the amount of subscriptions for the gym and it is busy at most given points of the day now. A few times now it has been so busy that I have walked around the gym to look for some equipment to get on and have walked straight back out.Someone sort it out!

This gym has several issues that significantly impact the user experience. The ventilation system often doesn't work properly, resulting in a persistent unpleasant odor. Additionally, there is no natural light in the basement location, exacerbating the issue. During the summer, the lack of air conditioning makes the environment uncomfortable. Furthermore, the staff's attitude towards patrons is disappointing; they seem more focused on upselling memberships than assisting with workouts. The decision to conduct training classes in the main gym area instead of designated spaces leads to overcrowding and disrupts members' workouts. Overall, these issues detract from the gym's appeal and make it difficult to enjoy a quality workout experience.

Toilets are out of service. Change rooms are dirty. WiFi has no signal. However, to be fair the weights and workout facilities are far more than sufficient.

As a 66-year-old woman living with diabetes and experiencing significant muscle loss, I was initially hesitant about starting a physical fitness journey. The thought of joining a gym was daunting, especially at my age and with my health concerns. Nevertheless, I joined PureGym Hammersmith, and I'm really glad I did.PureGym Hammersmith Palais has wide array of machines, facilities and spacious workout areas. What truly sets this gym apart, though, is its incredibly attentive and responsive staff. As someone new to the gym scene, I was surprised by the welcoming and friendly atmosphere. It felt like stepping into a supportive community, not just a workout space. Most of all, Melanie, my personal trainer, is what has made this an amazing experience. Melanie has been a blessing on my fitness journey. Her professional support, with her empathetic encouragement, have really helped me. Melanie's approach is not just about physical training; it's about building confidence, discipline, and resilience. After 53 training sessions together, the results speak for themselves. I've gained 2 kilos of muscle mass, seen a general increase in strength, and improved my mobility. Even more encouraging are the gradual improvements in my blood glucose levels, and overall, I feel fantastic mentally. To anyone considering a gym, especially those who might feel intimidated by age or health conditions, PureGym Hammersmith Palais is a wonderful choice. And if you can, hire a personal trainer like Melanie. Her invaluable support has transformed this challenge into one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Thank you, Mel, for everything.

24/7 access is a great things they can improve a lot of things still low maintenance. Some times the gym is overcrowded, you can't get space to train. Also the showers are starting to close at 11:00PM image if somebody has off peak membership starts from 9:30PM. Till he finishes his session and the cleaning team telling him at 11:00PM sorry we started with the showers you can't take a shower after a sweaty training.Things might improve we wish. Most of the doors of the lockers are broken you can't lock your belongings. Not to blame the Pure GYM, but some of the members as well.

I have recently joined in the new year after meeting Melanie who is the manager there. She inspired me to start strength training from a total beginner level. I booked a package of sessions from her over January to kickstart my journey. Melanie empowered me to become confident to use the machines and establish a routine that I feel confident in doing by myself, her experience, enthusiasm, passion & personality made the experience so enjoyable and I?ve found great value in training with her, I would highly recommend using the gym and especially booking with Mel, a fantastic PT & manager who clearly is very admired throughout her team and gymgoers there. I will be booking more sessions in the next month.

Great gym with good equipment can get busy like most gyms at peak times but like me being electrician who works days & nights, usual early hours of morning coming from work very few people in there that's one of the things i like about 24hr gyms, + at the end of the training session i like hitting hydro - massage its an nice touch, but one little negative is after all these years open in Hammersmith is the cross trainer, i my self don't mind them but visiting other gyms i would like to see a few elliptical cross trainer machine's being installed them machines really put you through there paces .

It has all the equipment and space you could need, however it?s super busy all the time and not cool enough, especially in these hotter months!! If you don?t mind working out at 5am when it?s quieter then fair enough. Otherwise it?s packed and kinda warm.

Went in for a gym tour. Great space to do your workouts, lots of equipment machines, cables, free weights and plate loaded machines. Wasn?t too busy on a Sunday at around 3/4pm.

Nice pure gym. Has massage chairs but they are often broken. Quite big as well.

I am pure gym member from a quite long time and never been an experience before like the one today . This trainer called Lorenzo leo denied me right away from the class saying they do not have space for the respective class in a rude way. I have never seen any trainer deny any member before , infact they try to accommodate as much as possible . This guy was rude and I would never go to his class , and his attitude is not acceptable!

The cardio machines are fine the problem is there is not enough of the weight machines. It's not sufficient for the large volume of people that use this gym. Whether it is 'peak' or 'off-peak', it is impossible to find any space.

How about the mirrors as several people mentioned, even at the cardio equipment on the wall?? It feels like you running into the wall you can't see yourself or anyone, for thar matter. The cardio can get long in distance & time, and rather boring without mirrors.Or perhaps could the turn machines around to face gym floors.I cancelled my membership because of the lack of the mirrors.( Ikea is cheap for mirrors. Just a thought.) Thanks.

?New renovations? have removed most of the kit and replaced it with cheaper versions just because they look newer and most users dont know what to look for. Also added a cycle studio and room in the main gym with no door where they blast music and the spin class instructor?s voice to the entire gym very loud so its impossible to listen to your own music or focus. Used to be a cheap place but you could still get the basics done but now its impossible to ignore that they are catering to absolute beginners and want people to pay for memberships and just never turn up. Also see clueless puregym PTs seemingly doing their best to injure people doing complicated and useless exercises almost every time im there
