The food quality was acceptable, but the staff?particularly the manager?was not very friendly. While I understand the policy of not being seated until the full party has arrived, the female manager?s attitude and facial expression were unsettling and made us uncomfortable.
Additionally, I requested to keep the soy sauce bottle at the table for seasoning, but this was refused, with the explanation that it needed to be refilled. As a result, I wasn?t able to add it to my sashimi rice in time.
This experience made me feel uneasy. I truly hope this was not a case of racial discrimination.

The most accurately Japanese TONKATSU I?ve tried in London!
We ordered a katsu curry, pork tonkatsu bento box and a ramen. The portions were huge and very cheap, we both struggled to finish our meals and felt bad because it was all so delicious!
The staff was a bit rushed but still helpful and welcoming! I had a lady serving me extra toppings and explaining what each of them were, which was very nice!
Overall, if you want to eat a lot of delicious food for very cheap, this would be a top spot!

Honestly delicious food. We ordered sausages, shrimp dumplings and family set of sushi. Great! Food gave us truly Japanese taste

I chose to dine at Eat Tokyo during my London trip as I had a very positive experience a few years ago at Convent garden branch.
This time, it was very disappointing.
1. We made a reservation and we were given a table. After 20minutes, they asked us to move. It was not a request and it was ?you need to move?. There was no apology. We would understand if they said that they needed to arrange a bigger table for other customers and etc. It was rude.
2. We were just given one book of menu to share. If you have been to this branch before, you would know that it is not easy to get their attention back until you are ready to order.
3. There is a massive discrepancy in the service between the older servers and the younger ones. I asked for a spoon for my soup from an older waitress and she raised her hand at me ( literally like talk to my hand) and went off and did not return. I asked the younger servers and they were great. They even offered child cutlery which were not offered by the lead server/ manager at our arrival. They gave us condiments for Ramen which was almost immediately taken away by an older waitress without checking with us that it was done.
We enjoyed our food. However, the service was definitely not Japanese standard. It was not a relaxing or enjoyable experience. We will not return.

Excellent range of bento boxes and happy hour food promotions. Food is fresh but is served whenever dishes are ready.

Incredibly well priced high quality food, pork Katsu curry for 2 is an absolute bargain and really tasty.
Staff are absolutely lovely and made the visit an excellent experience.

We've been coming here for years, and the service has always been excellent. The food is consistently incredible, with nothing to fault. Be sure to book ahead to avoid long waits during peak times.

We had dinner in the Hammersmith branch ordered Toku-jyou Chirashi where the sea urchin was bad smelled and being thrown out. We then told the manager about this but then she showed us the other packs of sea urchin claiming that it was fine, as if we lied to them. Finally we were fully billed with service charge yet we were completely dissatisfied with such arrangement.

Was supposed to eat in at the Hammersmith branch. One lady asked me how many are we dining in, I said two. She said "where is the other one?" I answered, "she is on her way". Another man came to me and said they do not allow people to sit if they are still waiting for someone. In disbelief, I asked him why? I am placing an order anyway? Beyond disapponted of their treatment. So rude, not considerate to customers. Will never going back to that branch ever again
