I?m not one to comment on a charity shop but I went in here today and whoever is in charge of the pricing has lost the plot. My partner looked at a plain coat no brand it was £32? Then they had a tiny bag of Lego for £50 ? they had 2nd hand bubble sticks for £2 which you get for 50p in Tesco, very strange experience.

Nice products that makes go back but prices can be lower. No space to move around and staff are not always the right people for the job.

Excellent book section, including two bookcases devoted to recent and upcoming releases. Managed to get a book I've been looking forward to two months before it comes out. I guess they must have a book reviewer as a regular donor. Definitely worth intermittent repeat visits.

Good prices, lots of stock, very busy in here, tightly packed.

Yesterday, I made a genuine error dropping off three bags of clothes, 'the wrong bags' to the W6 shop I found myself in an embarrassing spot of real trouble and a real pickle. The staff at the Hammersmith shop were incredibly helpful and reunited me with the right three bags and saved my bacon! Thank you BHF! John Horton

We had to email and call a number if times in order to arrange to have a sofa collected.
Our email were not answered other than the automatic reply saying someone would contact us in 3 day. Which does not happen.
We called twice in order to arrange collection.
When the driver came he is unfriendly and said no to our sofa only because it is slightly worn on one spot. Nothing was torn or ripped.
If we are donating second had furniture then to me is is normal to expect a little wear.
This was not the case for the driver.
I stayed in from 8am to 1.30pm after taking a time off work to allow for the collection and had a frustrating waste of a day.
If BHF want 'new' furniture they should clearly state this on their website or when we talk on the phone.
Save yourself time and stress and donate your furniture to any of the other charities.

This British Heart Foundation branch isn't my favourite charity shop in Hammersmith; it's rather small and cluttered, and a lot of the stuff on offer looks like it's been there for a very, very long time. It's best for DVDs (which are right at the back): they have a rapid turnover of stock, so it's worth checking regularly, and you will occasionally find some unexpected gems for a few pounds.

Sincere charity selling decent well sorted items. Some old tech bargains on occasion. Also retro items which they tend to display in the window. A deserving shop.
