I lost recently my permanent studio flat in Haggerston caused by flooding and Hackney council arrange for me an emergency accommodation in The Travelodge. Lovely Lady Patricia was very kind and in polite and professional way she welcome me and made my check in very smooth.
My room 208 is very comfortable, cozy, clean and perfect for relax after the unpleasant experience.
Thank you so much for the terrific ?????? experience.

I am really sad to say I have been staying in Travelodge hotels for years and on this occasion when I checked in the hotel staff went up to check my room was clean and were satisfied and let me into the room..... I went us and got ready for bed as I went to get into bed the sheet was slightly off the mattress and I noticed a brown mark after close inspection it was human excrement that had dried up with not attempt to be cleaned. After a further inspection of the room I also noticed green sludge on the basin on the toilet and on the shower curtain. This room had not been cleaned. After complaining both to the hotel staff and to the customer service team there has been very little attempt to compensate me on this matter and offered my a very small amount on a gift card (after this stay I have no interest in staying in there facilities again) I would like a full refund and this has been refused. This is completely unacceptable and not a good look providing your customers with unclean and unsanitary rooms. This is a health hazard as I am sure you are aware human excrement can contain harmful bacteria.
DO NOT STAY HERE TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND NO ATTEMPT TP HELP OR RECTIFY!!!!!

For the price point and location the rooms are really good. However, the level of service for a 'no-frills' hotel chain was exceptional. Everyone went above and beyond to help us (we were staying with our little dog and they were so helpful with this) I would highly recommend staying at this location for this specific reason but also Hackney is well connected for central London and is itself is a hip bohemian neighbourhood with its own vibe.

If you visit Hackney it?s a perfect place to stay. No sure why is rated so low, the room was exactly as expected, clean and spacious for a 3 stars hotel. The check-in was quick and the staff really friendly

Came during peak summer it was quite hot on the top floor with no aircon. However, Patrisha was amazing and gave us some cold water from the staff room. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. The room was standard with nice beds and a small bathroom. Would come back again

Receptionist Patricia made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you!

Very hot rooms in the summer as there is no aircon in the rooms and can?t open the window due to the noise from the busy road.
Asked to be move but the reception guy couldn?t be bothered to do it.
The only aircon is in reception and it?s dripping and a mess.
The door locks weren?t working as the battery was low but no one thought to change until went completely dead.
Not a good experience!

Stayed here as it's in close proximity to the London Stadium by train.
Had a room on the 6th floor which gave us the bonus of a view across London.
The room was very large and comfortable for the 2 of us.
Not much to say, just a standard Travelodge hotel (room).

Booked this hotel to escape the heat, arrived 20 minutes later, discovered the hotel didn't have aircon and asked for a refund 5 minutes later. The receptionist seemed very pleased with herself telling us there is no phone number, or email address to contact. There is a contaact page on their website and you can't select the hotel from it to register your issue. Not what I expected from a national chain.
We left a few minutes after that. Went back to our house.
Now of course I'll have to go through the usual time consuming exercise of getting a chargeback, which I'll get, but reasonableness could have prevailed.

Wow, what a perfect place: location was perfect for me, getting to the inn was relatively easy, rooms were small but comfortable and appropriately furnished (they have an electric kettle in the rooms!), and the loo was just what I needed. Next time I'm in the area - I'm definitely staying there again. Oh, and there is a cafe around the corner.
Update: stayed there a couple more times - still happy!

One of the worst places I have ever stayed.
To check in, guests are forced to wait outside in the street?regardless of rain or scorching sun?while the staff struggles to locate your booking in their disorganized system.
Once inside, you?re greeted by a dark, dirty, and depressing entrance hall before taking a lift to the first floor, where the reception is located. The staff are unwelcoming and show little interest in making you feel comfortable.
The key cards barely work, and almost every basic amenity?such as internet?comes with an extra charge. There?s no parking space provided, which adds to the inconvenience.
In short, this place feels more like a poorly run facility than a proper hotel. I wouldn?t recommend it to anyone.

The room stank, didn?t seem very clean, fire alarms going off from 3am till 8am(false alarm) and the noise from random people screaming on the street - our view was the wall to the other hotel rooms - it wasn?t a pleasant stay unfortunately - if you do come here just don?t rely on the trains either - ours kept being
